  1. Anyone have any suggestions in SoOn for internet providers other than Bell or Rogers? My Bell internet is now $75.00 a month as they keep tacking on extra fees and my torrent speeds are horrible.
  2. I'm pretty excited about finding old games I played as a kid. I know it's Gamecube compatible and I'm thinking of getting rid of mine but will my Donkey Kong Bongos and Dance Dance Revolution Pad work with the Wii? If not it's probably worth holding onto.
  3. I bet Lazlo will goose ya if you ask.
  4. When we were kids we used it all the time. Then in the 90s we learned it was a horrible word and it should never be spoken. Now it is back again. In the southern US it is still a common term. I remember the first Bonnaroo we went to the local newspaper headline read something like: "Senate to Debate Ethics of Execution for Retarded". I was shocked to see it in bold printed letters.
  5. Did you hear the one about the politician who took Viagara? He just kept getting taller!
  6. 30 cans every single day is a little extreme. I know few people on this board who can do that on a good Saturday if we get started early enough.
  7. Christmas came early thanks to Basher! Now I just have to figure out how to play the games I see listed for download on torrent sites. Some say PAL & some say NTSC so I guess the games are on DVD format discs & also regional. Does anyone know if you need a chip or something to play burned games? Bouche? I guess I'll have to visit the Gamehenge section.
  8. CNN Update: His bandmates may have thought he had kicked the habit, but according to the Clark County coroner, Quiet Riot lead singer Kevin DuBrow died of a cocaine overdose. Samantha Charles, spokeswoman for the coroner's office, said after toxicology results were received Monday, "The cause is cocaine intoxication." Investigators called to DuBrow's home the night he died said there was no forced entry and no suspicious circumstances.
  9. So if they played D'yer Mak'er & Communication Breakdown at the soundcheck but didn't play them tonight, they are obviously going out on the road.
  10. I think Freddie's teeth deserve more credit. It is speculated that they wrote the first three Queen albums.
  11. Now I get it. It all makes sense; she's Venom!
  12. I don't know if I'd go that far in my praise of Queen but I recently downloaded 3 or 4 shows on DVD from 1976-1986 and they are really awesome. I'll probably get the new Montreal DVD also. Wow. I'm really glad I got that off my chest...it kinda feels like I came out of the closet or something.
  13. The Country Music Hall of Fame is starting to put out the old Flatt & Scruggs TV shows from the early 1950s on DVD and 7 year old Ricky Skaggs is on either Volume 3 or 4 just released a couple months ago (that's what the Youtube video is showing a clip from). I've got 1 and 2 at home and they are really fun shows.
  14. Are we certain this isn't the real Magnum? Furthermore are we certain this thread isn't more exciting than the real Winnipeg?

  16. Maybe we could put some sort of fundraiser together to help with his medical bills (maybe book a band at the Lanc or something). It's happened on this board before. Heck one time they even had a fundraiser for this website...
  17. Wow. The album they put out this year was pretty good. Sounds like a road trip to the Casino!
  18. Personally I quit buying the Live Phish releases. I found that too much of my money was going into that little hole in Trey's arm. In an effort to try and help Trey get clean I just download them now.
  19. I heard Chuck Norris is responsible for Ricky's smoking.
  20. I'd like to maim the city of Kitchener for issuing me a $20.00 parking ticket on Tuesday after I paid $7.00 to park on a snow covered lot (I guess when the snow melted I was over the yellow line of my spot....I'm assuming 30 other people in the lot also got this fine). Then I'd like to maim the city of Waterloo for "fixing" my water-main resulting in $2,500.00 in repairs from my own pocket which they will not take any responsibility for. My hedge was also destroyed (RIP Bushy friend). Do I need to start another thread to discuss this topic?
  21. I have a DVD of Auburn Hills from November 1996 (my first Phish show) but I don't recall seeing this one.
  22. [color:purple]I'm still in my early 30s (let's just say late 20s for argument's sake). Some of these chumps are more like mid-30s/middle aged.
  23. I heard the bass player is playing with Widespread Panic for New Years Eve.
