The Good, the Bad, and The Queen - s/t new supergroup from UK - Damon Albarn (Blur), Paul Simonon (Clash), Tony Allen (Fela Kuti), Simon Tong (The Verve). Interesting... Only on Track 1, but pretty neat. AD
That was a wicked show (I only went on Saturday). Great to see so many out of towners, hope you all made it home ok. Great show. Way better than my expectations.
Love em. I think they're playing tonight at the SAW Gallery for Carleton's KOSMIC event. New album sometime this year. *edit. The show isn't tonight, I thought I was in yesterday but it's actually today sunday and the show was prior to now. AD
haha those are the 3 things i always get. never had anything else on the menu, perhaps that's why i've never had a problem there. as for the tips, well, oh well.
i haven't listened to nero in at least a year. don't plan to until the show starts tomorrow night either. in general i do listen to bands before shows, but not super-intensely. just enough to whet the appetite.
isn't it Hub from the roots? or is that where they switched up the bands? I know there's a different band for the fugees and Jill Scott... I think it's Hub
that was something else indeed.
don't thank me, thank the Fuse mailing list. I just reposted what was sent to me.
Was I imagining things or did they say it would air on February 3?
Anyone find out who the mystery confirmation was? Mango was going to announce at the end but never did.
Dear Secret Santa... I could give a flying fuck about Mickey Hart - Paul Stanley and Bruce Kulick? Jack Bruce? Dickey? Spike? Brian Wilson? Not like you'd get to chat with them. But still.
i wasn't dumbing down the issue, i was writing a simple tongue-in-cheek sentence. No need to be a prick. and i didn't bother to extrapolate all the social implications and logistics because i haven't thought about the issue enough.
