  1. So bouche and I have finally decided 100% on a destination for our trip in October. A few days in Singapore and a couple weeks in Malaysia. Does anyone have any input on these locations that will help us plan our trip?

    Last Meal.

    You're coming home? When? For how long? What's your last meal in Mexico going to be? Our last day in Belize was spent eating snapper, lobster and fresh tropical fruit. I haven't tasted snapper or fruit like that since. When I leave Canada, I'd say I miss bacon and runny eggs for breakfast the most, Oh and CEASARS! I always crave them when I'm away and there's just no substitute.
  9. SO easy (we had to look it up too!) Brown ribs under broiler for about 10 minutes a side (we used pork). Put in the crock pot with a sliced onion and a jar of your favorite BBQ sauce. Try not to gnaw your arm off for the next 8 hours while your house smells like heaven.
  10. I like Shropshire or a nice soft blue cheese on baguette. That's probably my favorite.
  11. My brother was wearing one when he visited a few weeks ago. Somehow works on him.

  20. Did they ever! I was expecting them to turn out in the mushy way that everything seems to turn out in a crock pot, but the texture was absolutely perfect, fall off the bone, but still some chew to them. I could have been fooled if told they came off the BBQ.
  21. BTW - I was telling bouche about the drunken asparagus and he was crinkling up his nose in disgust until I said "Jaybone posted it." then all of a sudden he's open to trying it. Your taste buds have street cred Jay.
