The older generation has been complaining about the way kids dress since time immemorial. Back when I was a kid the older people didn't like kids wearing tight blue jeans and t-shirts. When the baggy pants crowd become parents, they'll complain about the way their kids dress. This article is further proof that the US is becoming a police state. I'm glad I don't live there anymore.

One band that I would totally like to see re-unite (for more than one gig anyway) is Max Webster.

Yah! just returned to the hotel from the show. It was totally awesome. I'll write a more complete review later but here are some point form observations from tonight. - Keller played a short set and we missed most of it. - Ratdog played a long set - much longer than I had anticipated. Really good. They played "Help on the Way" but I was disappointed that it didn't lead into "Franklin's Tower". They finished off with "Come Together" with guests Keller and Derek Trucks. - My disappointment was short-lived because the Allmans played "Franklin's Tower", with special guest Bobby. - Awesome version of Van Morrison's "Into The Mystic" with Warren leading the band. - wicked "Whipping Post" closer.

I'll pass. I'll be too busy checking out the Allman Brothers. Have fun at the folkfest though!

Hey AD, what recent Björk songs would you recommend to somebody who was a casual fan of her first two discs, but lost track of her since then? I kind of didn't like her music after I saw the movie "Dancer in the Dark", but to be fair I haven't listened to anything recent from her.
