Well once again I PVR'd the game (so I could watch it upon my return from the Blue Rodeo concert) only to have the half-wit sitting behind reveal the outcome.

With tonight's game and last night's Cap/Habs game, it's great to see some firewagon hockey for a change. The banter between Gord and McGuire was hilarious.

I thought the game was pretty good as far as excitement level goes - not the best, not the worst. I'm happy with the outcome.

You guys are way more ambitious than I am today. The way I see it, the Super Bowl is an excuse to eat poorly. I've got a box of president's choice Louisiana style wings, we'll also make nachos and have the usual chips, dip, peanuts, etc.

The Leafs played like the Senators did when they were on the winning streak! One thing I noticed in particular was the Leafs were very tough defensively along the boards. The Sens didn't really have too many great chances, Giguere played well when he had to. Combine that with defensive lapses by the Sens and you've got a blowout.

One of the most exciting games of the season I thought. Ovechkin's a machine!

Well, if you're going to put an end to a winning streak, you may as well do it in grand fashion like the Senators did last night!

It would be even more encouraging if they shifted away from clothing and televisions and towards actual groceries! Loblaws doesn't even have any grey poupon for crying out loud!
