  1. Yeah, I was at one of those Trey shows and agree that the venue can be crazy with the right band. I'll also add that one of the best Hip shows I've seen was not far from Burlington. July (early August?) of 2000, they played outdoors at the Bolton Valley Ski Area, along with Guster and Christ Brown & Kate Fenner. Absolutely top-notch Hip, so I have great memories when I think of the Hip and Burlington.

  3. Yep that did it..I am now foaming at the mouth searching for Steve Jobs to maul! I, personally, don't see a problem with this. It was known from the get-go that these phones would only be compatible with one network. If you don't like the way the product works, then maybe you shouldn't have bought one in the first place. No worries I never did. I just habitually hate Apple. My bad - I wasn't speaking to you, personally, as I hadn't made the assumption that you'd bought one (though I can see how you'd think that from my post).

  5. From CNN Yeah, boy. Quite the shock that they lowered the price after the initial rush. Didn't see that one coming.

  9. I don't find someone being a prickish asshole funny, but I'm obviously the minority in this thread. Normally, I would agree with you. That was actually why I stopped watching Dave all that often after being a big fan when I was younger. Given who the guest was here, though, and her complete cluelessness and inability to get over herself, I had no problems with it. When she stops being a complete whore for the spotlight and trying to play herself off as a victim when it comes back to bite her in the ass, I'll feel sympathetic for her.
  10. Happy Birthday, Steve! Hope it's a great one for you.

  17. Nice one! I should note that it doesn't have to be a play on the person's handle. Feel free to interpret the category as you see fit. (And this post does not count me as the "person who posted above you" for the context of the category). Wow, that's all quite clear. Carry on.

  22. Two (tiny) thumbs up, M.O.B.E.!
  23. It definitely did. A situation made all the more amusing, if I recall correctly, by the fact that it was Moosehead headed for Mexico so the labels were all in Spanish, thus making it tough to re-sell in the Great White North.
