  1. can you find/post a link? good holy god I'm desperately trying to avoid work tonight!
  2. need some attention, there do ya little man? the vid is clever, though I'm quite certain you did not create it. there, a little recognition for ya. are you happy? If not go give yerself a wank and think of Booche wearing Gateaux in sexy tight blue undies
  3. or don't, and watch the interesting carnage ensue. Rule 26 (aka schwa.'s rule) publicly quit the board in a huff every few weeks or so, just to stir things up. Or see my first suggestion. ps....is Booche always this nice to newbies? I don't think I ever got any of that love. Surly Booche is all I know *sniff* *sniff*
  4. 'my name is earl' is fanfrikkintastic! absolutely! (but it's still not better than having sex. no TV show is. and there's only so many hours in a day, people!)
  5. welcome G! sorry we didn't cross paths. Blame it on your attorney/chaperone. and if Ms. Hux humped your hip while shouting "nero! nero! nero!" don't worry. that's not her usual behaviour. usually she just goes for a tittie rub!
  6. Ari...hope you get to look up this thread sometime soon and see all the love being beamed your way; we really will miss ya over this coming summer/festival time Soak up this experience and enjoy evey minute of the cross-cultural weirdness. It's really such a gift to be able to immerse oneself in another land, language and customs! Post stories and observations, for sure!!!
  7. awwwww....sweet. What fun! c'mon the rest of you SoOn folks who didn't make it last night.....you still have lots of time to get your priorities straight and drive up for tonight's show! Ms. Hux...I vote you the official jambands-peeps photographer. You're taking some awesome pictures and helping to "preserve the memories". Seriously. I mean that seriously, as my memory is pretty shot on the best of days.... Also, it was good to see photographic evidence that StoneMtn WAS there....we shall meet the mountain tonight, then!
  8. oh my god....these are so beautiful (there's dozens more to see via the link Dave posted....really jaw-droppingly gorgeous) I wanna try this...looks fun....send me your spare bills, people (I'll list you in the credits)
  9. happy birthday!!! glad I'll get to see your smiling birthday/gameday face this weekend!!!
  10. happy birthday, Deep-thoughts!!! (haven't seen much of that action 'round here in a while...you got a life or something???) hope your cake is tasty!
  11. but if I come, I get second helpings, right? so glad I ain't gonna miss you guys this time around....and you can't keep me off the dance floor when my mouse-spouse is on stage either, so it's looking to be a GREAT night of groovy goodness. Schwa. et al, it'll be good to catch up with all you KW crew we only briefly saw in passing last time around........but hey, probably we'll be seeing a bunchayas for nero, no?
  12. make sure you go back to Mountsberg and Crawford at sugaring-off time (if the weather freakin' smartens up and does what it's supposed to, that is) At Mountsberg you can watch bald eagles rip the juicy entrails outta fresh fluffy baby chicks (dead) at feedling time. FUN! They also have some cool & beautiful owls in their sanctuary, too At Crawford, they do maple syrup as the natives did....putting hot rocks from a fire into a pit full of sap. tres cool! as far as the area you're in, that's all I can think of for attractions. Unless you need new leather pants. Then it's worth the drive to Acton
  13. I have this "entertainment book" thingee and thought we could get a better or equal deal to those posted above, but t'was not the case. We will also use this system, I believe, but just clarify for me: you have NO way of specifying preference? We really want to be where the party's at, obviously. (Hell, you'll all need me around to start it! ) What about other outta towners? Where are people staying? Has anyone found a hotel with a whirlpool? The Crowne has a pool and sauna which is a good start....
  14. I love this place. yer all so funny and funky. you're all pretty funky too. I love the way y'all smell. (think he'll come back?)
  15. solid and fun line-up......hoping to make both nights, but at least one for sure!!
  16. WOW....I'm so impressed with your effort (and recognition of its need) Aaron! I totally commend you! Hoping that as each day passes, you feel a little stronger and feel the benefits a little more. Sounds like you've got lots of love and support from this community....don't be afraid to draw on it when needed! (umm, yeah....ignore my avatar if you can )
  17. Horrific news to receive!! Scottie, take good care of her, and Diane...wishing you a speedy recovery. (when given the chance, it's fun to count one's blessings, ain't it?)
  18. My all-time favourite Homer - Marge excahnge which my darling friend Ili can recite to me in both voices! Cully....never knew you were such a fan...you should play SimpsUno with us all sometime! Is Your Spouse a Souse?[color:brown] Homer: ...so they say I might have a problem. [finishes brushing his teeth, and polishes off a bottle of that wonderful Duff] Marge: [reading from a pamphlet entitled, "Is Your Spouse a Souse?"] Homey, do you ever drink alone? Homer: Does the Lord count as a person? Marge: No. Homer: Then yes. Marge: Do you need a beer to fall asleep? Homer: Thank you, that'd be nice. Marge: Do you ever hide beer around the house? Homer: Do I ever! [fetches a beer from its hiding place in the toilet tank, and takes a swig] Ahhhh. Marge: Do you ever drink to escape from reality. Homer: [looks in the mirror and imagines himself as a big muscular guy] [to "Can-Can"] Duhh, duh duh duh duh duuh duuh, duh duh duh duh duuh duuh, duh duh duh duh duh, duh duh duh duh... Marge: Homey, I'd like you to do something for me. Homer: You name it. Marge: I want you to give up beer for a month. Homer: You got it. No deer for a month. Marge: Did you say beer, or deer? Homer: .... Deer. Marge: Please, Homey, I know you can do this. Homer: All right, starting tomorrow no beer for a month.[puts the light out. We can hear the sound of a can popping open] Marge: What was that noise? Homer: I was saying, "Psssst, I love you."
  19. OMG!!! Popo weenie just made a joke that I actually understand, and find a little funny, ta boot! What an awesome start to 2007!!! That, and being told we're a kind community, just made my morning. What a cornucopia of awesomeness does 2007 promise to be!!!
  20. LOTS of good tips in this old thread , too. when I searched for it, I was sure it must have been from last NYE....but it's not....was this someone's BD rager at 40 main, I'm wondering?
  21. best wishes for many, many happy days ahead Todd! hope you get to feel funny today (we'll have to get Heather to verify)
  22. great news! "Road trip! Road trip!" (to our house, in time for NYE) "Road trip! Road trip!"
  23. most of the cool gifts in our house were gifts to our girls (I did most of my shopping at the Science & Tech museum shop this year)...but luckily they share with us! Dave got a cool glow in the dark Einstein-galaxy Tshirt: I rec'd my Noodly Master's word and wisdom: but the BEST: Dave & I each got an awesome Nepalese wool sweater, polar-fleece lined.
