thanks my knee acts up in bad weather. do you have a snowboard vacation in mind for this year?

we had our work xmas party here again this year and it was delicious as usual! i had the duck trio (breast, confit, and sausage). it was a bit weird with lentils and very strange veggies that i didn't care for, but the duck was very nice. the mushroom starters were the best and i chose Smores in a tall glass for dessert (chocolate mousse, graham crumb layer, tons of gooey marshmellow). love this place

where's Blue? my knee has been hurting lately. and i'm broke. and in ottawa. FAIL. have fun

i don't anticipate 12/30 being too tough... could be a situation like halloween where on 10/29 there were so many extras you literally couldn't give one away, though they had been hard to find previously. people are holding tix that they hope to trade for 12/31 and when that doesn't happen there could be a flood of tix.

1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup Crisco, butter flavour 2 eggs 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 3 cups flour Mix all ingredients together until blended, do not overmix. Add in whatever you like to the batter.
