  1. peoples on stillepost have been excited bout the new track available online http://www.exclaim.ca/articles/generalarticlesynopsfullart.aspx?csid1=117&csid2=804&fid1=29208 http://www.myspace.com/constantines
  2. but I pronounce it "defin-at-ely"!
  3. haven't seen this posted here, from Wired Magazine in December: David Byrne and Thom Yorke on the Real Value of Music David Byrne's Survival Strategies for Emerging Artists — and Megastars is some cool audio of Thom and Byrne talkin, as well as Bryne talking to Radiohead's managers etc...
  4. whoops, deleted my Learning To Enjoy White Bread and Mayonnaise 101 post (not meant as a rascist slag... just saying there are some differences between genetics, square pegs might not fit round holes, etc)
  5. The word algebra is derived from al-jabr... which if you were speaking very slurrily could slip out as sounding remotely like Al Qaeda... thereby very likely including you on the north american no-fly list with Cat Stevens but aside from that, think it makes a lot more sense to have schools that are publicly funded based on ethnicity than religion... one your born into and the other is a choice... I definately wouldn't have minded hearing more about the pagans and druids whilst getting schooled up (wasn't much of that devil talk in the catholic schools back in my day sadly, aside from grim proclamations that most of my blood ancestors are probably now burning in hell for eternity)
  6. probably comes down mostly to whaddya wanna pay... mac's are generally a little more expensive most software is available for both now... even le windows if you have the money and you're not a pc geek could be fun to try out a mac (then you can answer this question for the next person who asks if you're a real pc geek or cash is somewhat tight you might want to stick with pc
  7. best of wishes... sounds like a great move no ... more ... ... hangovers

    IPOD?

you should be able to use iTunes... don't remember exactly how but have done it for someone... not to say it wasn't a pain in the ass doing it... but it got done (maybe there's a better way, you'd hope so) loaded a bunch of tunes onto someone's cheap-ass mp3 player over the weekend... plug usb jack into tower, drag and drop from one folder to the other... so easy, so fast too bad most cheap-ass mp3 players are so damn ugly & clunky to use
  9. great pics... and like hearing about travels dinosaur park looks very cool didn't know about the pyramid inside the pyramid or the snakes, neat indeed I'm plannin a journey... with my mind... could probably use a forum of its own
  10. I'd probably show up for some swag maybe have ike a staring contest
  11. what would it be called with all 3 sources joined together? (domimatrix?) thanks greatly Brad... lookin very forward to listenin
  12. "Syrup" sake of deeply confusing the site's role and intent with illegal downloading to lure in the Fed's then go laughing back out of court and watch the hit counter spin wild "where's the free downloads? where's the free downloads?" "whaddya mean they're actually free? awww!"
  13. "Get your Large Marge-arita's right here folks!"
  14. talk to the jaydawg (he's beach camped the Rica) bring back bizarre and elaborate stories (and a tan
  15. after they moved from the coast, they had a weekly gig here in Hamilton at Mermaid's for a year before their popularity took off... nice bunch o dudes, an honest talent... was suprised how much a young band could blow me away with cover tunes... they would throw their own stuff in between covers and we'd say "who's that by? sounds great." and then find out it was their own... could tell they were headin the right direction from the get go say hi to the bass player and the singer from long red ponytail and glasses jamie in hamilton if ya think of it and kudos!
  16. was driving a Chevrolet Uplander van for a couple of weeks and didn't know it was a hybrid until I was told a few days later... nice ride, no lag, double the gas mileage of their previous non-hybrid (only need to hit the gas station every 2 weeks for a daily driven vehicle) new VW van looks neat... ran into 2 people so far this winter who hate their late model VW cars though (both were stalled... dead in the snow... push no help... no heat... asked me if I wanted to buy one real cheap
  17. Happy Birthday Bones! (drop now!)
  18. stay outta "The Arnie"! good luck brother... school's a good place to be
  19. indeed... best wishes for anyone facing that struggle... my genetics dictate I'll almost positively be there someday watched Crazy Sexy Cancer a little while back and found it deeply moving (actually had to turn it off at a few points for a breather)... recommended the girl (Kris Carr) from that documentary's blog is at crazysexycancer.blogspot.com... she's currently on her honeymoon in Costa Rica
  20. was sleeping soundly at the strike of midnight (though I woke up again at one and got light headed in front of the tube all night) soberest birthday/xmas/new years run I've had since I was 12... the 12 day uber party concept wore thin after 26 years in practice very glad to hear that was good times out in Simconia, was considering it, and thinkin bout ya's... but in the end, lazy nothings won out cheers to all!
