  1. Del Curry's kid is a fantastic player. Great games today!
  2. I'm not a huge fan of the narrative aspect of the film, but the concert and studio performances are exciting and the DTS audio track is explosive.
  3. Greg, my deepest sympathies. Hud looked like a wonderful dog and your write-up is a touching.
  4. Isn't the other Suspect still in business near Honest Ed's?
  5. I took the players he picked for the Hall seriously, because they deserve to be there, jokes and satire aside. The Raines crack just isn't funny, and there's often nastiness with Americans and anything Canadian-themed, so the fat bastard can fuck himself with Jim Rice's bat.

I too use Nature Clean for dishes and all their other enviro-friendly cleaning products.
  7. They are 2-8 in the past 10 games and have lost 5 in a row. I expected batter from them, Bosh or not. Ford's play is troubling. It seems when he came back, the team went in the tank. What the fuck is going on? Beating the Heat? Who cares? If they keep this play going, they may not even make the playoffs. Check the standings. I'm not wrong.
  8. So Ziggy' date=' Damian, Kymani and Julian aren't talented??[/quote'] I didn't say "Stephen Marley is the talented son of Bob Marley".
  9. Although I found this blurb to be idiotic and unfunny: Tim Raines: Just this once, I'm gonna level with you here: I don't remember ever seeing him play. He was on Montreal? Played half his games where they don't even speak the English? Next.
  10. Stephen Marley is the talented son of Bob Marley.
  11. It is indeed, but the area around Broadview and Queen is called Riverside.
  12. God' date=' I wish for once this wouldn't be true.[/quote'] I just don't understand this mentality. It's a Bluesfest and we have an internationally recognised blues player in town, why shouldn't he be a standard. Not to mention he's a hell of a player. Don't get me wrong, I respect Tony as a player and champion of the Blues. Being that it is BLUESfest his inclusion makes sense. I just can't for the life of me stand "hot roadhouse Blues." It is insufferable. Boring and predictable. A little bit of me dies every time I hear some Stevie Ray Vaughn-abie wanking away. I loathe it. I can see why you wouldn't be a fan of watered-down Texas blues and rockin' blues, because I despise them both. I love Stevie Ray more than life itself, but find Chris Duarte and others of his ilk boring. I'll give Tony D a listen since I've never heard his music, but by your description, I surmise he is of the blooze rock variety, which I like slightly more than Eric Clapton duing his Babyface era.
  13. I wish I could go to this show. I like both bands and this is as exciting a double-club bill as we are going to see this year. With a huge birthday next week, and I mean huge as in old and huge as in spending tons of cash, I can't go to any shows until April - hopefully Ray Davies @ The Danforth Music Hall. Good luck getting tickets to the show c-towns. BTW, the area around the Opera House, called Riverside, has boomed in cool, fresh and healthy ways recently. There are new restaurants and a few new pubs in the area. Check out Booze Emporium for some beers before the show, located next to Jilly's. It's owned by the same guy that runs Betty's on King Street.
  14. He had a good run. A.C. was sharp until the end. Greatest science-fiction writer ever. Amazing visionary too.
  15. Because of the poor year Syracuse had (although they had key injuries and are very young), I will just sit back and enjoy the tournament and cheer for the underdogs, and Big East schools. Fuck Duke and the Tar Heels.
  16. Buddy Guy is touring this year, so I wouldn't be shocked if he was added to the bill. God love that man.
  17. So I guess you lived in an abandoned bus in the middle of an Alaskan winter?
  18. He was desperate, deranged and terribly unprepared, so I doubt he was in the right frame of mind to find an anecdote.
  19. Here's the thread: http://www.jambands.ca/sanctuary/showtopic.php?tid/245310/
  20. citation please if true' date=' perhaps it's because people that are obese live longer and thus need more care? i don't know if that's the case, just surmising [/quote'] Are we talking grossly or morbidly obese people or just plain old husky? You'd be surprised what constitutes being considered obese by Health Canada standards. I'd like to see a citation too. There's no doubt that obesity can lead to all sorts of nasty health ailments like diabetes and heart disease.
