I'm all over this fight. There's been tons of excellent cards over the years, but boxing is unfortunately not the draw it once was. Mayweather is the best fighter to come around in ages. He's blazing fast with knockout power and a fucking asshole to boot. Oscar is the underdog, but he still has speed and can hit. I'm heading to Kingston to watch the fight. I agree with your observation, but the old Healey's was authentic in the blues bar tradition, thus I loved the place. Blues bars are not the most comfortable places, but squeezing up to the stage inches away from Son Seals? Well, it don't get no better than that.

I've had some good experiences at Lee's Palace. I've always found the sound good and it has good sightlines and the elevated stage is a bonus, especially when you are on the floor. It's also one of the best punk venues in the city.

One of the main reasons NJ finished with the record they did was because of their key long-term injuries. And don't forget they are still without Krstic, he of the 16.4 ppg and 6.8 rpg, and Eddie House. The only long-term injury on the Raptors is Garbo. All the others were short-term. Yes, the Raptors had all kinds of injuries, but the NJ are still playing without some key players and are a totally different team with Hamilton in the mix.
