Tenenbaum
i just finished watching "Backdraft"; man, that flick gets me everytime (the begininng and the end).so, I'm wondering, what movies make you weep?-Running on Empty (when River Phoenix' parents leave him and "Fire and Rain" is playing in the background)-Once Upon A Time in America (when one of the kids get shot)-The Dog Who Stopped The War (when the snow fort collapses on the st bernard ;-((

Steve from Cleveland
I feel like I've already responded to this question... Maybe on a different board...I actually have a pretty long list for a dude... What can I say, I'm sensitive...I'm pretty sure I cried watching My Girl back in the day... I know, I know...Top Gun usually gets me. "GOOOOOSSSSEEEEEEEE!"I cried at the end of Pay it Forward, when little guy got knifed to death in the schoolyard...now I can't freakin' remember any of the ones I though of when I first read the topic... Stay tuned...I've been getting pretty choked up even watching the news lately...Steve
Dr_Evil_Mouse
I've been getting pretty choked up even watching the news lately...SteveYup, that's the stuff.... and (since the tangent is in play) I'll add the Lowell Green show as well.Back to the fictional... depending on mood and state of parents' health, I might add Big Fish. Jaimoe
I cried like a baby in Big Fish. If anyone has lost a parent, especially a father, this movie will hit you hard. The Iron Giant gets me every time too. A beautiful animated film that deserved better when it was released. This movie hit me like a ton of bricks, especially knowing it was a true story:
