ollie
I almost choked on a chicken bone at lunch today. Anyone else have a near death experience with the Big D?

Del
I lived in Brahttawa for 13 months and never ate "the D" once... If there's bones in that shit I'm really glad I didn't...
bradm
I've lived hear for almost 15 years, and only eaten their food once, when they sold sandwiches at "that place" on Canada Day. I wasn't impressed, but realize that that wasn't the full "D" experience.Aloha,Brad
Booche
Those sandwiches were AWFUL on Canada Day. The buns were stale as a mother-fugger and everything inside them got hurt by the outdoor weather. In all honesty, they are normally fantastic and I have never had one that had bones in it. bouche
you can't expect 300 sandwiches made hours in advance to be stellar when you're used to french ones.Oliver was so closed to choking that he walked over to me and showed me the so called bone in his hand. poor guy. 1 out of 127 dirienzo sandwich's had a tiny bone that any dog wouldn't even notice. AdamH
I've still never had one. People say it's better than La Botega's sandwiches so I'll soon have to validate that claim.
