I can't get enough of the influential late 80's band Galaxie 500. Great songs and great jams from this criminally over-looked band. Recently, Dean Wareham, founding member, guitarist, lead singer and songwriter for Galaxie 500 and Luna did the music for The Squid & The Whale. Great film.

I listened to a lot of Damon and Naomi when I was younger, and a bit of Luna, but never knew of the connection til now. Wierd. Thanks for the tidbit.

The Terrapin from 04-07-89 (Buffalo).

Wrong date. Its 07-04-89.

Sure' date=' if you're a slave to the US date format ;).

[/quote']

They're both stupid date formats. The ISO standard date format is YYYY-MM-DD for a multitude of reasons; not the least of which is avoiding confusion like this. :D
