Magnum
Very impressed with the Steve Miller set. He and his band were very tight and looking and sounding great. So many classic tunes and nice jams including a couple tunes with Gordie Johnson....you can't beat that... Fly like and Eagle (w/rap...no need for that really) True final love Abracadabra Mercury Blues Nobody loves you like the way I do Shababdoo-ma-ma-mama Texas w/Gordie Johnson Crossroads w/Gordie Johnson Serenade Dance, dance, dance Wild mountain honey In the winter time Keep on rockin' me baby Take the money and run The Joker E: Swingtown Jet airliner (Yessssss!) ollie
Fly like and Eagle (w/rap...no need for that really)That was a little bizarre. Where did the rap come from?Overall I enjoyed the show. Some nice electric guitar playing for sure. Hopefully it was taped by someone.

Freak By Night
My girlfriend and I almost didn't make it last night, getting too tired from going every night! But we talked ourselves into going and made it just before Steve Miller started. Totally glad we decided to go, that was a nostalgia show for old folks like us. He really jammed out some of the tunes too.
AdamH
Great show. Weird rap. He was a bitch to everyone backstage.

ollie
What was with the story about the Bank of Canada wanting to buy his old guitar for the Canadian Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame? Did Steve not think we'd notice he's not Canadian? Sounded like cheesey Vegas schtick.

Northern Wish
Yes Joseph Wooten. "Stick to the keys sir, you were a delight back there. A Rappers Delight however you were not."Miller rocked, the rap blew. Glad I stayed out, but I didn't get my Jungle Love!

zero
I honestly thought Steve Miller was dead - I haven't heard tell of him in at least a decade. My introduction to show going revolved around Miller at the old Kingswood Ampitheatre (does that even exist anymore) at Canada's Wonderland. Northern Wish
He had some kind of serious debilitating bone spur problem in his neck that prevented him from touring for at least the past 3 or 4 years. And no Kingswood does not exist anymore. Screw you Paramount!
Kanada Kev
I honestly thought Steve Miller was dead - I haven't heard tell of him in at least a decade. My introduction to show going revolved around Miller at the old Kingswood Ampitheatre (does that even exist anymore) at Canada's Wonderland. That was an show to go to almost every summer for about 5 years in a row. Always a good time. One of the years there had been a lot of rain, and they had just re-sodded the lawn section the day before. Of course, it ended up being a sod war (just like a glow-stick war but with hunks of sod). It was insane!
