Booche
My holidays just started an hour and 17 minutes ago, but seriously. Let's get tickets people. I gotta see Beck or I am going to lose something.
Jaimoe
I think you need to see both Becks live.
StoneMtn
I've seen him five times. Every time the sound sucked so badly, I finally gave up.I love Beck's music, too, but save your money and spend it on his discs.
PalacePrincess
you know what i just discovered, like last week? beck is married to cynthia! AND, cynthia (actually marissa ribisi) is giovanni ribisi's twin sister! who knew!
Cosmic ChrisC
Is Beck even touring right now?I've wanted to see Beck for years, but I guess I'm not trying hard enough to make it happen.I got turned off when I heard he was into Scientology.Too bad about Marissa Ribisi also being a Scientologist. I liked her in Dazed and Confused.
hamilton
Saw him at Molson Amphitheatre sometime after Odealy and before Mutations - maybe summer '98? - with Ben Folds Five  and Sean Lennon  opening. Good show.
Hal Johnson
I too have seen Beck about 5 times and I'd be lying if I said I didnt have loads of fun each time. I cant remember the sound being all that bad either. That being said, I havent been too into his newer stuff, so I have no idea what his shows are like these days. But if what I saw on Bravo is any indication, they're still entertaining and the little guy is always trying something new.
Jaimoe
I abhor Beck when he does his white soul stage act, but he's great when straps on a guitar and rocks it up.
bouche
I got turned off when I heard he was into Scientology. Is it fair to judge someone by their religion?

StoneMtn
Religion ... philosophy ... irrational beliefs ... whatever you want to call it, I think the point is that it's irrelevant to how much you like or don't like his music. If not for the horrible sound every time I saw him, I'd still want to see him again; regardless of the Scientology-thing.For instance, Henry Rollins was always a complete jerk, and has been rude as hell to a friend of mine. I still dig Black Flag and the Henry Rollins Band, though.
Hal Johnson
I always found his, "im a little white soul man," stuff amusing. Its not like he takes him self all that seriously when he does it, either - just listen to the lyrics.
Guest Low Roller
I actually like his latest albums Guero and The Information. A lot of fun tunes on those albums that make for a head-bopping good time. I would like to see him live as well, but I won't be all too fussed if I didn't. phishtaper
Saw him at Molson Amphitheatre sometime after Odealy and before Mutations - maybe summer '98? - with Ben Folds Five  and Sean Lennon  opening. Good show. saw that one too. he's quite entertaining in a geeky kinda way. he also opened for the Stones a couple of years ago at the skydome, but we only "saw" him from backstage on the monitors. he sounded good, though. i'd recommend him. the music is great. his dancing? well ... DevO
I saw him at Lollapalooza 95 and it was awesome. I'm a big fan of pre-Mellow Gold Beck, like One Foot In The Grave and Stereopathetic Soulmanure.
\/\/illy
Yup. Beck is killer. Leanne and I saw him in Toronto about a year ago. I'd say it was about 50% capacity in there which we agreed was so stupid. Definitely made our "top three shows ever" list. Beastie Boys were on there too. Beck was STELLAR. Go see him for sure.
