bouche
Ever walk into an asian grocery and marvel at the craxy snacks that they have? One of my favourites, especially to snack on while making an asian meal are Shrimp Crackers! Anyone else have any favourites?

phishtaper
there's a small store in jackson square in downtown hamilton that sells all sorts of this stuff. most of it is crazy looking, or in packages you'd think twice about before opening. Ms.Huxtable
I really like these corn snacks. They taste a lot like sweet corn and a bit like Cap'n Crunch. I also like nori snacks and wasabi peanuts. The newer pho place in China Town, Saigon Boy serves a coffee flavored candy with the cheque. I frinkin' LOVE those things. and of course.... Sarahbelle
This is more of a meal but U can eat it as a snack.. mmm Shin Ramyeun!!! I ate it in Korea all the time. IT's pretty spicy but yum! All my students used to get it, break it up, put the seasoning on it and eat it raw...(shrug)
SolarGarlic
These are pretty tasty..like Mrs. Hux says, capn crunch texture with a savory flavour. I have had a whole bunch of different flavours, most of which I have no clue as what it's supposed to be! There is a "sarami" (salami) flavoured one for the meat eaters in the house. Blane
yay for Shin Ramyun and Seyoo Chips (shrimp chips)! It may sound gross but these pocky are amazing: my girlfriend's favorite is this: Spicy dried shredded squid. Great with beer and peanuts as the Korean contingent on the board will no doubt attest. bradm
I've never seen the green tea Pocky, but I've had green tea ice cream (in, IIRC, Kyoto), so I guess the Pocky is a natural extension.Aloha,Brad

DevO
i love the kim (the seaweed).. at a lot of korean bars they serve it up just like we'd eat chips over here. its good! i like the dried squid as well. there's this one kind and its strips of dried squid with some kind of white cheese attached.. f'n good! the GROSSEST korean snack is boondaegee (silkworm larvae).. you bite into it and its this oozy explosion of disgustingness. you can smell it a mile away!
