badams
AJ pitched well enough to win. Needed a little more offense
afro poppa
the story of the seasonif it wasn't for that fourth inning (or fifth?) it would've been a different game...AJ got the first two guys out on four pitches, then walked the 9 hitter on four pitches and then unravelled..... Hal Johnson
Last nights game was awesome. Just when I thought they couldnt find more pathetic ways to lose they came through in the clutch once again. In case you missed it:Jays down by one in the tenth. Bases loaded, none out.Jays score zero runs, lose the game.Cant wait to see what they have in store for us tonight!
badams
I am concentrating on Euro 2008 and then the Olympics. I'll see where the Jays are after that...I'm guessing 3rd or 4th in the AL East.
afro poppa
The Jays...ahhh the Jays. One week they are winning 5 in a row and the media and people are saying they are in the thick of the playoff race; the next week they are losing 7 of 9 and are in last place 7 games back.Gotta love em. djmelbatoast
They are on a whole other level of suckiness.
Jaimoe
Man, what a frustrating team, but there's nothing wrong with the starters. McGowan gets a complete game 5-hitter and 125 pitches, but throwing fire all the way. There's no way I wanted to see those hacks come in from the bullpen with the way Dustin was throwing tonight. dave-O
I'm thinking about changing my avatar. The pride of New Brunswick, Matt F'n Stairs. I haven't been paying attention, have the Jays been mathematically eliminated yet?
Jaimoe
Stairs is doing well. Change that avatar.

afro poppa
yea brutal when the Jays have the best starting rotation in the Majors yet can't score enough runs or get enough outs from their relievers to win the game
Hal Johnson
I didnt catch any games this weekend, but did manage to hear a bit of Jays talk after the last game. Appears Mike Wilner is getting paid top dollar to defend Gibby at all costs.
LXQ42
Gibby'e biggest mistake yesterday was pulling Carlson, who came in releif of Litch, striking out the first batter he faced, after his one out with runners on 1st and 3rd, putting Camp in, who proceeded to give the Cubs another 4 runs, putting the game out of reach.
