Velvet
"Mick Taylor, who was a member of the Rolling Stones from 1969-74, will be a special guest throughout the tour."They said there would be 18 dates but this is only nine cities, so I expect that when the shows sell out they will announce a second show in each market. fluffhead77
Where is that dividing line between $166 and $624 in the stadium? Floor and not floor? That is a craaaazy huge gap not to mention, unbelievable. This band is no better than they were 20 years ago, arguably worse, yet the ticket prices keep rocketing to the sky. ollie
There are two ticket prices for Toronto:$166.50$624.50fees included. You can't always get what you want.Wow. I still feel some small amount of shame for paying $350 to see them on the floor in Montreal in Jan 2006 (7 years ago!).What made it worse is that I had a better time seeing them from the back of a football field a few months earlier in Ottawa for a whole lot less.Anyway, hopefully they'll do a PPV or two on this tour. I enjoyed the one in December.
Marcust99
I think (hope) that those prices are the high/low range.Still $166 for what will probably be the last 2 rows of the 300's near the back is nutso. No thanks. Velvet
Yeah, the prices are on TM.If the 2012 shows are any indication there will be very few of the cheaper (ha!) seats, the bulk of the seats will be the pricier ones.Pricey tickets sell lots of merch. I think it's the "if I'm paying $700 for a ticket I'm damn well not going home without a t-shirt" mentality, mixed with a dash of "drop-in-the-bucket." Northern Wish
Its crazy what has happened to the concert industry over the past 20 years. I paid $54.50 the first time I saw them in 94 (17th row on the floor of Skydome).Eagles'd.

bradm
Maybe they should try for a FACTOR grant, to help them reduce the Canadian ticket prices.Aloha,Brad

phishtaper
i very much doubt the band has anything to do with setting the prices. AEG would set them.fwiw, the first 10 rows on the floor are usually the least expensive tickets.

Good luck filling the ACC by selling people overpriced tickets to watch a product that peaked in 1967.ugh ... i dont know what you expect in a live show, but i can say that the last two stones shows in TO were some of the best live performances ive ever seen, of any rock band, and they helped solidify my opinion that the rolling stones are easily one of the top bands in the history of music. have you seen them live?
