  1. Not a bad book at all. I've been giggling and giggling.
  2. OK, all the tickets have been sent out. You can unsticky now.
  3. I'm going to agree with the guys above. It's an interesting and fun show. You don't go to boogie, you go to see something different and be entertained. Don't pass up the opportunity.
  4. Ha! Julia, Slash was on Howard Stern this morning and I said the same thing "I am SO reading this book!"
  5. Oh thanks everyone. I assure you it was a wonderful birthday. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a foodie and that there is nothing more I love than unique culinary experiences. bouche treated me to some fantastic eats over the weekend. To start, we went for happy hour and dinner at Par-Fyum . 4 hours and WAY too many martinis later we left the restaraunt. The next night, we made our very own sushi dinner. That's a real treat because I LOVE SUSHIMI. This picture doesn't include the Tofu and black fungas soup we had. What a terrific meal. I was also spoiled by my in-laws. So it was a happy birthday indeed!!! Thanks!
  6. My favorite show on TV right now. Best comedy anyway. Love it, love it, LOVE IT!
  7. I was terribly disappointed in Knocked Up. So much hype, so few laughs and nothing innovative at all.
  8. We have a clock in the bedroom that changes automatically to adjust for daylight savings, BUT it changed this morning and now we have to go a week all facked up!
  9. I just listened to the podcast and I have to say it was the best one yet. The dialog is really engaging and Scofield has a great sense of humour. "Low D in your pants." HAhaha. Keep them coming Mike and Dave. You're doing a great job!
  10. Thanks for your help Esau. Hopefully that will work and we'll be in the tub by tonight. I can't imagine a weekend without it!
  11. Right on. Bullmoose is awesome. They're a tight, tight rockin' blues act. They're SO different than Peter Elkas, so it's going to be a nice contrast of music that night.
  12. Ah fack! Sorry to get your hopes up. It's like the Friday syndrome, it can't come fast enough!
  13. Ladies and gentlemen, our tax dollars hard at work. *rolly eyes*
  14. In honour of the December shows in Ottawa, I put nero back on my ipod. It was on shuffle today at the gym and MAN did Lemondust keep me moving for an additional 10 minutes. Just when I felt like enough was enough, I rallied through with nero's help. What fackin' great music to workout to. NERO!!
  15. Ha! I almost wrote "Hux is better, but Harland stays awake longer." Too funny.
  16. I smoked a j with Harland once outside a comedy club in Ajax. I smoked a j more than a few times with Hux. Hux is better.
  17. Your tickets are now in the mail. I hope all the winners enjoy the show. Dancin' man, your tickets are on my desk. PLEASE send me or bouche a PM with your mailing address.

    borscht talk

We've also bought the borscht from Nates that comes in a jar. It was so good! Thanks for the product advise Blane. I'll keep my eyes out for that.
  19. CJ, I am so sorry you're going through this. How awful. Teachers really are the most amzing people and have the hardest job. I couldn't imagine it getting any harder but it sounds like it has. So sorry.
  20. Happy birthday to the headiest of mamas. You have shown me what it's like to be able to confide in and trust a mother, to be able to have fun with and admire a mother, and best of all... to have simultanious hangovers with a mother. Much love to you on your (should I say it? nah).... milestone birthday.
