You've got a great point there. It feels like torture having to perform in front of people when you can't hear yourself. You know, if a venue books an act like Ryan Adams they really should know to get their shit together and make it sound good. It more important with this particular act to have it sound good on stage than to the audience. If it sounds good on stage to the musicians, the audience is in for a good show.

I am so excited to be playing with these guys. It's a fun project and a good cause. I'm told we'll be on at exactly 9:00 and we only have an hour so be there, be on time and have fun!!! I know we will be.

I couldn't agree more. There are a gagillion things you need as a new homeowner that you never needed before, buckets, hoses, ladders, lawn care stuff, window coverings, tools, painting stuff, picture hangers, EVERYTHING! It may seem impersonal though so stick it in a homemade card or along with a painting you made.

My apologies if this has been discussed already. I watched Zeitgeist a couple days ago and it freaked me right the fack out. I can not stop thinking about it. I even stayed awake for hours last night mulling over the contents of that film in my head. Has anyone else seen this? What did you think? If you haven't seen it, watch it.

I loved Belize as well. I would recommend Hamanasi Eco-Resort. Lots of adventure-type stuff, terrific food and it's very small (not touristy). Get a tree-house upgrade and you'll be glad you did. Everyone check this place out. We adored it. If you haven't been to Cuba Blane, it's probably worth going while it's still unique. With Castro's death pending, there's no doubt that 5 years from now it will begin to loose it's old-world, simplistic (communist) charm. I love traveling where there isn't a franchise to be seen. I couldn't really recommend a spot. We stayed at Barcelo Solymar in Veradero. A nice town but it definitely caters to tourists. Good luck. Don't be afraid to relax on a beach! It can be just as good for you as an adventure in the hills.

Oh man do I wish I went to Toronto! It sounds like another good show. I probably wouldn't have gotten the twelve hours of sleep that I got last night, but it would have been infinitely better!

Cute pictures! I love the newborn photoshoot! I'm always amazed at how babies look like their parents. I know it's fundamental stuff, but it's just so cool. Congrats again Steve.
