  1. I think something simple and personal might work too. does your newborn (or you, your wife or son, for that matter) have a nickname/pet name. I also, personally, like anything that connotes (literal and metaphorical) sweetness......maybe something like: ~~Honey Bakery ~~Honey Cake Bake / Honey Cake Bakery (Winnie the Pooh reference) ~~Sugar & Spice (& Everything Nice) ~~YummyStuff ~~Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, I've got love in my Tummy okay, I'll quit now.
  2. oh George (& family)! what a horrible, horrible invasion. I am sending out the strongest of gonad-kickiing vibes I can muster to the little f*ckin pricks who could stoop so low......honestly, I think this is the lowest of crimes possible. no way to make it feel better....I wish I could. I know you're counting the blessings that all that's truly important are safe and sound....but here's for also wishing karma quickly sweeps in to punish the f*ckers and I wish I could string them up with my own angry hands!!
  3. yats? yats? you there? I think your dog may have just licked your keyboard or something...... will you be in Otown this weekend? Mooosey knows the deets if you will be around, and you're more than welcome!
  4. to THIS! totally hooked now, and not sure where I'm gonna find the hours in my days or nights to eat it all up! We watched about 7 episodes straight last night....I really feel like a junkie! And each of us has promised the other not to get ahead, which will be a tough promise to keep! I LOVE Hiro! his innocent, moon-pie facial expression of glee & astonishment is so awesome!!! the series sort of reminds me of Twin Peaks...in the number of odd, multi-layered characters and the hovering presence of evil.....
  5. I be thinking mattm & slavetothegroove might need a lift too.....? ((((((((((((((good weather vibes))))))))))))))))
  6. all the best, MarcO! I've always enjoyed your satirical posts, and appreciate the time you put into creating them. You often give my week a lift, when I check in here and read your cheekiness. It's been fun occasionally going head to head with you, but I prefer the hugs, for sure! So here's a gigantic squeezy birthday hug, imagined in my mind and teleported through time and space to YOU!
  7. YEAH YEAH!!! This is awesome news all around! A new home is sooooo exciting. And an island! How freaking cool is that!!??!! I googled the address last night and you're a little farther than we'd like, but still a day-drive if we start early enough!!
  8. lotsa lovin' hugs and good wishes Ari!
  9. fack! I'm gonna jump in my bubble bath rather than stress over this.... someone else take the lead, please. (and thanks)
  10. right on, Chris....you can teach me the actions and we'll sing a duet. now...why the hell did I finish that theme??....means I have to think up a new one.....

  12. heya Steph....lookit all these gorgeous babes named Steph with May birthdays!!! awesome! you're such a kickass sexy-sweet package! Rock it into your thirties, girl, and let the good times roll!!! hope to see you lots over the summer!
  13. I have the same question as Sari....are the shavings from treated or untreated wood? Are they as fine as the bedding litter used for bunnies, hamsters, skinny pigs, etc? If the shavings are indeed appropriate for wee mammals with overbites, Twitchie & Costanza can split the bags.
  14. wow, lotsa pretty ladies have a May birthday! always fun to see you out and about at shows, Steph! Big Birthday Cheers from here!!!
  15. woot woot! have a day!! all the best jared, to you and your creative spelling habits. deciphering some your posts is almost as much mental exercise as deciphering popo weenie's, so my brain thanks you!
  16. wishing you continued sunshine! happy day!!
  17. only when he's closely munching on something other than cheese.      omg, did I just say that? I must be dotty in me old age.
  18. happened to me, too, the first time I ever saw the Grateful Dead. I turned to Dave, as an "anchor", for some kind of pull-me-down-from-the-rafters reality check, and said something like "Is it usually this weird?" He answered (having seen them lots, but in his inimitable way) "I hope so" and then I was hooked! too short, those 6 fun years, way too short! still haven't made up my mind about this whole DSO thing...guess I can't until I actually see them...but it is an odd thing, methinks
  19. yeah, the "older crowd" represents! Not insulted here. Not at all. 'cause we'll still drink the younguns under the table ......then steal their wallet to buy rounds for those still standing!!!
  20. hope y'all have a blast and show these fine players much love & appreciation. just what IS happening with the band, MC? Never had a chance to catch up properly in OTown, but what's with all these rumours I be hearing.....?

food, fun, fence-paintin' & frenzied shenanigans in good ole OzGood
  22. most definitely. thanks in advance. thanks!!!
  23. Rick, my understanding is that Ace Bakery (in TO) started as a home-kitchen retirement project, which is now a huge enterprise, shipping breads over most of Ontario (possibly further afield?) Anyway, I know the husband & wife team to be very civic minded, and they always helped out with food donations to the TRCC when I was a vollie there. I'd suggest tracking them down, making a cold call, and asking if they could tell you their story and possibly mentor you and your wife in your own endeavour.
  24. Trace, been missing your voice round these parts....so glad to know you at least lurk, but c'mon, ya gotta share your thoughts! (I was especially thrilled to see the words "Dancing Man" and "knock me up" in the same sentence. Now we just need to take it out of the "conditional" and into the "active voice") have fun trying....now "TAKE OFF YOUR PANTIES"©
  25. no, no KK I meant the clip you posted. Is it from a longer movie? That's what I mean by so outta the loop! I have come to a new level of appreciation for Ferrell, man. When I gave up on SNL many moons ago, I think he was just starting out (and SNL had nobody else to offer...there were some pretty lean years, there) and he did not impress. I've watched some of his Dubya stuff (GREAT!!!) on youtube and am looking again for The Landlord...does anyone have an address for a site that still has it up? thanks, y'all
