YT, have you ever taken any courses on medicine? The reason I ask, is that I have taken a few physiology courses over the years and one of the things that came up every now and then was vaccinations. The physiology is rather simple, and the theory quite sound, it seems. Unfortunately, the lectures never touched on the horrific darker side that always seems to come up around these parts. What's the big issue, if you don't mind me asking?

in NS you can put out as many clear bags of garbage as you want. You are then allowed 1 black bag of garbage (for body parts and drug paraphanelia I guess) as well. Also, all recycling must be separated into paper and plastic, and then of course, there's your compost. Failure to comply results in your bags being left by the curb. Seems to work rather well too. In this case, I can see how fines aren't as effective. Those who can afford to pay them will gladly do so in order to not have to put in the effort. Having your garbage left on the curb telling your neighbours that your too lazy to sort it out though is another story. Very few are bold enough to allow that to happen. EDIT to add: Just realized said fine in question is up to $200. A $200 fine is likely a sufficient deterant for most...I was thinking it would be a lot less for some reason...I still stand behind my statement that leaving your garbage on the curb is as good a deterant.

Disagree. Russia came back three times this tournament. To say they didnt deserve it, or that it was all Canada's doing is absurd. Did you see the tying goal? It was beautiful. Sure Canada was sloppy at times, but Russia burried their chances and that's something.

I'll say this about Crosby, and its not his fault, but it's damn annoying to listen to the guys on Sportsnet and TSN talk about him in the same breath as Mario Lemieux or Wayne Gretzky. There should be a moratorium on such discussion until the guys has been in the league for at least 10 years and has won multiple cups. And that should go for all players in all sports.

Our cat Stan was eating the fur on his belly a few years ago. We took him to the vet and they said he had anxiety issues. They wanted to put him on prozac. Seriously! Put a cat on prozac...as if. We got him some new food, new toys, and generally just tried to improve his overall quality of life as best we could. Took him to the rippers...that kind of stuff;) But seriously, it seemed to work, he's still here, 15 yrs young. Hope that's all that's wrong with your cat, but you should follow everyone's advice and visit a vet. Better safe than sorry.

That was really good, and Im looking forward to the rest of the series. There were some hilarious one-liners too. Ovie, talking to the ref when Semin got kicked out for drawing blood on a cross check: "Maybe he has sensitive skin". Or, I forget who from Pitt, entering the room at practice: "Hey guys....Fuck you Gino". Also learned Bruce Boudreau is kind of a pansy and is likely the reason Washington has never lived up to their potential.
