  1. How's the instantaneous urination working out for you?
  2. Looking forward to seeing you again (if you do end up in Hamilton)... And to everyone, safe travels, regardless of where the wind may take you!
  3. So if tree troll is female, does that mean it's Meghan? (There couldn't have been too many people from Barrie out at the Mansion House last weekend...) Whoever it is, I hope that you continue to lean towards hammertown! Cheers!
  4. Always a pleasure crossing paths with you Paisley. YOu always bring a smile to my face. Happy birthday!
  5. I don't know... I figure Kanye West' lifetime achievement award is long overdue...
  6. I'd go with your first instinct... Is this Kevin by the way?
  7. Oh come on StoneMtn... Lazlo on New Years? It doesn't get any more enticing than that!
  8. In my experience, it's pretty dam difficult to even GIVE away free tokes to others who prefer to use the "hard drugs". Sharing a doobie these days at a festival is like pulling teeth...

    I am so sad

Real sorry to hear that Cully. Definitely a very difficult thing to do. ((((Big hugs))))
  10. It was a fantastic show!! To tell you the truth it greatly exceeded my expectations. I have never really partied in St. Kitts before, so I wasn't really sure what to expect, or who I would see. But yeah, what a night! Overall a really good turnout, and those who were there, were certainly there to party! I thought the boys were on their game for sure. Some of the best jamming that I have heard from them in quite some time. Todd was feeling inspired, and full of energy and it showed. I second NewRiders sentiments, Drawbar was also on fire. I don't think I got the chance to tell him that, but he is sounding better and better every time I see him. I don't know... maybe getting more and more comfortable in his shoes i guess. The new piano/synthesizer filled out the sound nicely. A great addition to the hammond. All and all I had a great night! Nice to put a face to the name numerodos! Glad that you got your 'eyes'. I felt like a bit of an idiot, as my dense self didn't realize prior that your name was actually numero dos (# 2). I was pronouncing it like a honkey-tonk this whole time! Nice to see you again Aaron. I enjoyed the conversation. The new look is totally working for you! Look out ladies! Is BlindWillieMcTeil your bro? Anyways, the boys loved the bar, and will definitely be playing there again!
  11. I had to powerwash the INSIDE of my van after that Bob's bash in question. It was not pretty. Oh yes, I remember driving your van from CTMF to Brendon and Julia's condo in Collingwood. I remember it well. Scottie Powers giving me driving pointers the whole way...priceless...
  12. My mom's cousin Doug Sheddon used to play for the Maple Leafs. I think that's all that I got. Oh wait! I have a photo at home with me and Jean Chretien. We both gave speeches at my graduation where he received an honourary degree. Oh, and I am blessed with the opportunity to hang out with the infamous MarcO on a regular basis. Life doesn't get much better than that!
  13. A crazy, wet night it was!! That festival went on despite continuous torrential downpours and and wailing winds, tents blowing away, etc. I could have sworn it was 1999 however... I don't think I went to Bob's bash in 2001. I think that p-funkadelian that we were hanging with was named Grady. Laur I believe that I pulled out the good ol' montana haze to pass around that night (before it met its demise). No wonder buddy didn't know what hit him...
  14. Wesley Urban Ministries is probably one of Hamilton's most important and effective community agencies. Hell of a cause! I'm going to see if I can swing this one...
  15. It is always nice when your hard work pays off. Congrats on the opportunity and recognition!
  16. Yeah, you guys will definitely be in for a memorable night!
  17. I had the fortunate experience of seeing him play with Todd, Deanna (former Fatties singer from a way back), and some of the boys from The Masses in the summer. Good times indeed. Also saw him play recently with another band he ventures with out in Vancouver. He can still certainly tickle that "ivory". That being said, Ty has not played with all the boys from the Fat Cats since New Years in Canmore (four years ago). Which means the other guys in the band will be SUPER stoked to play with him, and their extra enthusiasm can only mean good things!!
  18. I sometimes have the dilemma of whether or not to bring people out to a show that are unfamiliar with the general "scene" or music. I only usually bother with those whom I am pretty confident that they will enjoy themselves, and that are the types which feel comfortable mingling on their own. I love to dance at most shows, and after being around for many years also love to socialize with all you fine skanks who are usually mulling about. Sometimes I think this can be a bit overwhelming for someone who is unfamiliar with all that goes along with that (yet still potentially enjoyable, and everyone needs a good rattling once in a while)... But yeah, I hate that "guilty" feeling that suggests that I should be a better friend and introduce them to everyone and everything, and make sure that they are comfortable at all times, not dancing all night if they're not into it...yada, yada, yada. Sometimes it's easier to keep those parallel universes parallel, yet distinct...
  19. Phew!! Yeah, it's been much too long since I partied in the k-dub amongst all you fine freakish folks! Makes me want to ultra mega dance just thinking about it...
  20. I just hope that I didn't let the fat cat out of the bag if it wasn't supposed to be... And Greg you better get your ass out to the show. You definitely qualify as an old schooler (said with the utmost respect). If a ride is your only barrier let me know...
  21. I can try and pull a jedi mind trick for you to get them to play a second set eyes... (definitely not an unreasonable request)... Hope to see you there/meet you numerodos Cheers!
  22. Pretty cool, but kinda creepy. Todd and I were contemplating last night what this would do to someone on an emotional/physiological level. That's gotta screw with things i'd imagine... Better to be alive I guess?
