  1. Caught these guys at a little blurry gathering last weekend. I think they really dug the crowd. It was fun. The guy who has joined them on keys was rippin it up

  4. Come on out and dance the night away as the Fat Cats join forces with Dan Walsh and the Passive Resistors (current and former members of Diesel Dog). I believe Walshy & crew will at least in part be doing a tribute to JJ Cale. Costumes are not required but are definitely encouraged. Taking place at The Casbah in Hamilton. $10 advance or $15 at the door. Tickets available via: www.fatcats.eventbrite.com https://www.facebook.com/events/1508225369488310/
  5. Hamilton can be a lot of fun! I'd be up for showing you around if ever the time presented itself again. Unfortunately I will not be heading to this show as there is a party the following night that I'll be heading to that involves the Mark T. band...
  6. It is horrifying....as is that chicken gif. So easy to be apathetic to politics when we live in such an AMAZING country until all of a sudden....what the what?
  7. In the event the politics forum is overlooked...with an election looming... http://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/vanishing-canada-why-were-all-losers-in-ottawas-war-on-data/
  8. Could have sworn you already had your bday...but sending you birthday love nonetheless
  9. Love that Israel Nash album! Doubtful I can swing this but good to have it on the radar
  10. I dig this venue and while I haven't been on the balcony have always enjoyed the floor
  11. Oh fuck ya now there's a cast of characters. I'm a gonna have to check that out...
  12. Bwahaha. I have to do this for my dad. reminds me of Sunday traditions when I was younger. ..off to church in the morning with mom and grandma then home for lunch and an afternoon of WWF with dad. Hacksaw a definite favourite lol
  13. In. I'm curious to hear this line-up. Happy they went for a buffalo date...nice and close
  14. Nice write-up! Admittedly don't know anything about him but it sounds like I should remedy that
  15. Nice! Hope to make it to this...mid-week kinda sucks but I'll take it
  16. Proud papa...that kid is slick
  17. While it sounds like there is a need for new management, I do hope this festival comes out ahead. I think the intent behind it, the cause, the location, the people it brings together, local food and vendors, the family friendliness of it all...there is something special there.
  18. I could see it being pretty mellow for a larger festival stage. I've never seen him live. Picked up an album of his years ago because the music store I used to frequent had him playing when I was in there and I really liked it. Kind of forgot about him for a while until I saw he was on this line-up. I'd still like to see him play in a smaller room. He comes to Buffalo it seems every once in a while. Maybe someday.
  19. Did you catch Gregory Alan Isakov by chance?
  20. Always dig the artwork on their posters. Not able to swing it this labour day but a fun looking weekend ahead
