    Thanks guys...

While I only really get to observe and engage with it from a distance, your outlook and strength are truly an inspiration to me. From my vantage point it appears your continued thirst for life is the most fitting and meaningful testament that you could give to the one you love. So really, thank you for that.
  2. I personally like the middle of nowhere, other than the car-dependency factor, I know I'll miss it once I inevitably end up somewhere someday.
  3. Wish I could go to this...not looking likely for me unfortunately.
  4. Really sorry to hear that. Just when you think you're amongst friends eh...
  5. Do it up Schwa! I'm in! (thanks laur)...

Wishing you the best of outcomes BR!
  7. Are you fuckin serious? First I've heard of that. Brutal.
  8. Can't believe Fat Cats was back in 1994...And good ole Doug Fever made his debut there in '86. It was a surprise to see him out on Saturday. Always a throw-back when he joins the Fatties for a song or two. And yeah, I agree with your summation Esau, of the festival and its finer qualities
  9. Well I sure had a grand time. Definitely some crazy energy in the room. Felt like it had been a while since the last home-grown hamilton show. All of my encounters with This Ain't Hollywood have been good ones...quite like the place. Thanks to both bands for rippin it up.
  10. Having Olson back definitely tweaks my interest further too. I'm in!
  11. Neither would be my answer too. Mind you its not often the headliners that bring me down to this fest. I would consider sticking around to hear them..esp from the beer tent. But they would not be the carrot for me.
  12. Happy belated Meggo! Keep emanating that great energy of yours.
  13. Hey hey, my my. Paisley it would be AWESOME to see you! Far too long my friend. Bolton is in town too.
  14. Oh. Thanks for the heads-up. This is a show that I would love to make happen. Any thoughts on whether this will sell out?
  15. Also extremely saddened and shocked by this news, and the timing of it in your lives. Not that there is ever a good time...I can't express enough empathy to you Basher, and everyone else who loved her. Like Blurry my first real chance to get to know Julia was years ago at Gratefulfest. Her light really did shine and her generosity of spirit was infectious. It really is hard to make any sense of these painful occurences and losses in life.... Cherish the ones you love.
  16. Hmmm...forgot about the Wood Bros. I'd throw a vote down for BNB at the Horseshoe on the 30th though.

    I Do. Me Too.

As long as I get to be one of his cronies. I do have high friends in places.
  18. Well the title pretty much says it all. Should be a fun night.
