Marky
If yonder Mountain were to come to toronto are people really going to come see them. I think that they are awesome but how many of you agree with my opinion. Let me know what you think and it might have a positive outlook.
CyberHippie
Well there is a lot of bluegrass going on in the city, so I'd think there would be a lot of interest from people outside of this little jamband community as well. Having them play on the right night would definitely help. I'll be there!
bradm
If I were in Toronto, and the logistics (timing, venue, etc.) worked out, I'd go see them. Maybe get Crazy Strings or the Creaking Tree String Quartet to open? They played at moe.down 4, but I missed them due to excessive tiredness. Aloha, Brad

bONES
i've seen/partied with the Yonder Mountain boys on several occasions, as they were on board for the JamGrass tour a couple summers back them boys like their Tennessee Whiskey :: great tunes too so, YES...i'll definately be at that one! kung
That would probably be a safer bet than say Yac. It really is imperative that you get some press (like Now) for them and bill them as bluegrass first jamband second. Jamband is a dirty dirty word to most people. Rossolee
I'd be there with several "kinfolks." YMSB are a joy to see live. They put a couple grate fests on every year one in Colorado called Kinfolk, and the other the Northwest String Summit in Oregan. Good stuff! backbacon
fwiw, I would rather see ymsb than del mccoury band. Just more lively and upbeat. The speedier the better! ---------------------- "Rock rocks but bluegrass rules!"
