MamaBurnsy
[color:blue]Since I don't watch TV very much, and we only get channels 6 and 13, I have come to the conclusion that Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Family Guy are the best shows out there. Is there anything else that is really worth watching? Please don't say Canadian Idol
mister slippery
if you only get 2 channels, and get those 2 shows, yer doing fine.you need nothing else.

Jaimoe
Not too new, but new to DVD: The BBC production of The Office in my opinion, is the best Brit-com since Faulty Towers. As comedy and satire goes, I love The Daily Show and King Of The Hill. The new Family Guy has lost a step, but it can still make me laugh. The HBO series Carnivale rules. Rent Season One on DVD for proof. The new Battlestar Galatica is excellent too. Same with the new BBC version of Dr. Who.I'm going to get into Deadwood as soon as the heat-wave ends.

MarcO
Arrested Development is the best sitcom I've seen in years and The Daily SHow is just about the most consistently funny show I can think of. Definitely worth watching.Right now I'm involved in a Food Network show called Jamie's School Dinners involving chef Jamie Oliver's examination of the health effects of poor school lunches on children in Britain and his efforts to change it. Fascinating, scary stuff.Pilot Guides is also a regular show for us. Another great show.

Tissue Man
Corner Gas... I can't get enough of it actually... some of the best Canadian sitcom writing ever... Corner Gas is funny but has a way to go to be some of the best candian sitcom writing. My favourite canadian sitcom would be Twitch City and of course Made in Canada is up there to. Bring back Twitch City.
Ms.Huxtable
I'm with MarcO 100%. Arrested Development, Daily Show, Jamie Oliver and Pilot Guides (Did you catch Sri Lanka last night?) I also love Arrested Development, Six Feet Under, Trailer Park Boys, and even though it's over for another season, 24 rocks my world.
Jaimoe
What the hell was I thinking: I freaking love Lost! It's creepy, engaging, well acted and well written, plus it's not predictable.
