AD
[color:purple]I really don't understand why Zaphod Beeblebrox isn't the no-brainer here.I'd love to see the Slip play Zaphod's. The curfew wouldn't go over too well though, unless they came here on a weeknight.Probably just the right size for the Slip too.AD
Hux
Howler says....ha its funny you say that now, like this, knowing full well 'I' am forever 'perma banned' from that place. Oh well nice one bobby...edit to add...care to take this inside? Of all the reasons to have a show there (like..uh..it's in our backyard!), you think that was my motivation? Pretty self-centred and paranoid. But now that you mention it.....being able to guarantee that such a great night of music would not be ruined by you making threats or being violent towards an innocent friend, as has happened too many times in the past - would indeed be a benefit. Booche
Poor UncleFunGuy having all these insane ramblings. As I backpeddle, if I were you man, do book them at Maverick's. It's the safest call. It is a great room.

bradm
The only minor snag I can see for Mavericks is that they like to have out-of-town acts paired up with a local band as an opener, and I'm hard-pressed to figure out who'd be suitable. Real Gone Daddies, maybe?Aloha,Brad

Blane
believe it or not Montreal such a hot spot these days, there no venue's open on the date and its in late OctoberI do find that hard to believe. Did you call Casa/Sala/El Salon? They've got 3 different venues they can book at, and 2 have capacity over 200. 514. 284.0122I find it hard to believe they're booked fully in Oct., unless it has to be at the beginning, which is right in teh middle of the Pop Montreal festival.
