The one, the only, five disc rotation returns althugh in this, the Ipod/digital listening age, I barely put anything in my home stereo anymore. Nonetheless, you know the rules.

Iron and Wine/Calexico - He Lays In Ruins - I worship this EP - what a great combo

Neil Young - Praire Wind - A great Neil album. Top shelf

Comes A Time/Jerry Tribute 9/24/05 - Jesus why not? Look at the guest list

Pearl Jam 9/12/05 - One of my top five shows of the yesr

-Antony and The Johnstons - I am a Bird Now - This guy's voice is simply one of a kind, addictive only getting better and better

Honourable mentions go to Sufjan Stevens- Illinoise, Bob Dylan Bootleg 1 1966, Spoon - Gimme Fiction, Sigur Ros - Takk

In furtherance of the Thanksgiving spirit, I'm looking at the stack of discs in front of the stereo and it occurs to me how grateful I am when friends pass on new and awesome music.

Neil Young - Prairie Wind
- Check (thanks, senor Slippery!)

Bob Dylan - No Direction Home (ditto)

Dirty Dozen Brass Band - Medicated Magic (courtesy of B & Ms. H)

Jaw-dropping Phish mix (Stone Mtn)

Keller Williams - Stage Right (Monsieur Tonin)

... and the list goes on... thanks, everybody! I think I'll be giving the burner a good workout this week.

That was no. 6 :P

Should I feel any guilt for copying that and spreading it around? It is a fine bit of work.

Depends. I'm going to review it soon with links to his website. Dave is a go-getter and may not like that you are copying his CD too much since he won't make money touring in Canada... or Japan for that matter. Although I've burned thousands of Harvard Mouse CDs.
