c-towns
Anything by Nickleback or Chad Kilger or bands like that, they make me want to smash the things producing that retched noise. Sorry about the rage but the amount of Nickleback I hear in Calgary would make anyone want to puke. peace.jamesd.

And now I have that &(*&)()(!&^% ABBA song stuck in my head... Time for some Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes, I think. Aloha, Brad

Jaimoe
My Sharona is a great song, with one of the best guitar solos the genre of power pop has ever produced! Get The Knack is a great album too. I think I'll listen to the album on my ride home from work.

hamilton
quote:Originally posted by Tara: *RUSH.....geddy lees voice makes me want to puke. It' okay - females are genetically incapable of liking Rush. Seriously. I've never met a female Rush fan. I even went to see them one time, back in 1990, and it was a definite sausage-fest. The only women who were present seemed to have been dragged there by their boyfriends, and looked like they'd rather be just about anywhere else - and I mean anywhere. blip
okay. the goddam cover version of that hopelessly lame Henley tune 'Boys of Summer', where instead of the Deadhead reference I was waiting for, the guy says, 'I saw a Black Flag sticker on a Cadillac' I nearly dove out my car window. weezy
Well, in Vancouver, we have: the Fox 99.3 and Xfm 104.9 they are identical. In fact, they have the same play lists - if you surf between them, you can literally hear the same song 7 or 8 times a day. Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, brutal Can-con, etc... 101.1 classic rock - Supertramp, Led Zeppelin, AC DC - you know.... Those are what I'm talking about. Mercifully, we have 101.9 co-op radio and a cool UBC station that don't suck or insult your intelligence, but reception isn't always possible. It's all about the lowest common denominator as usual. So sad.
