Bonnaroo announcement tomorrow

Quick question folks,

Who's been to any of the Bonnaroo shows and depending on the lineup annoucement how many of you would consider going this year?

i was there in 03' and it was pretty busy. I can't imagine how crazy it musta been last year. Although I've heard that they're selling the same amount of tickets this year that they did in 2003.

The wife and I went to a smaller fest last year (Wanee) and I found the smaller fest is a little more intimate (and more relaxed). If any of you are considering Wanee I would highly recommend it.

Me and a couple friends are looking to possibly share the drive down to Tennesee this June (s'long as the lineup's killer).

Maybe some others are interested and a mobile home would be a possiblity??

I'm definitely thinking about making the trip, especially given the crowd reduction.

I went in 2004 and was amazed at the amount of talent in that small area.

not that i can go anyways, but if i was, i'd rather see half the amount of bands on the lineup, but the ones remaining get twice the amount of time...

I am pretty sure I am goin, especially if the Dead show up...if the lineup is really bogus then I won't go but I've gone to the past two and its becoming sort of a tradition, I can't wait for festy season!!

I'm pretty sure that we officially decided that last year would be our last Bonnaroo. Not that it's not absolutely splendid but just that it's very far away, and we've been there every year. We're talking about finding something different this year. Tulleride Bluegrass or maybe the Winnipeg Folk Festival are considerations.

I've gone the past 3 years and will probably go again. It's a good party with a great soundtrack. But I can see how that would ruffle some feathers around here.

Last year was the first roo I missed.

Going to stick to smaller festivals that have as good as a line-ip as the Roo.

Langerado and Wakarusa and the Greyfox are the 3 I will be doing so far.

Wanee was killer last year. Dark Star was there. What a band! Not sure if they'll be there this year but I agree with your friend.

The venue is one of the best I have been to so far (mind you I've only been to bonnaroo once and Wanee once).

Rumoured that Trucks actually came through the crowd and watched DSO along with the crowd.

Campin in FLA in April! What a thought, wish I could do er again.

Bring on Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Beck and especially Radiohead tomorrow. I don't know what my summer would be like anymore without bonnaroo in June?

Thanks for making this point... I don't have the patcience. I'm so in this year... whoever is playing. Last year I got photo proof I saw over 40 acts at Bonnaroo (including the live band beer tent/arcade DJ/Silent Disco DJ)... the key is running.
