blah, blah, blah, ....., blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Same rant different day. Booche, who the F*ck cares what you think about the Leafs. And the reason the Habs aren't on TV is because the majority of Canada would rather watch the Leafs. If they would draw a higher audience, they would be on CBC. Quit your crying.

Saved a sinking ship last night!!! What a comeback. Talk about a great resource for finding some inspiration and tenacity that has been absent for a couple of weeks now!!

I was almost ready to shut the game off at the beginning of the second period, but I had a feeling.

Let's hope that's the end of the slump :)

GO Leafs!!!

I hate the Leafs. They held a pre-game ceremony last night commemorating the 92-93 team that made the semi-finals?

What a fucking joke.

Do you really have that much of a hard time ignoring the Leaf's goings on? You obviously don't know what you're talking about, because there was NO pre-game ceremony for the 92-93 team. They kept it low-key as to NOT attract attention. BTW, that team will always be remembered as one of the Leaf greats ... doesn't matter that they didn't win the Cup that year (fantastic win for the Habs!!!) they were a great team with more heart than any other NHL team that I've ever seen.

Having any kind of recognition of the 92/93 Leafs reminds me of the ribbons they used to give out to kids with "Participant" on them.

Participant = Loser

Hey Bouche remember a few weeks back you told me to drop my obsession with the 92/93 Leafs. I tried bud but they just keep sucking me back in.

92/93 Habs = Stanley Cup Champions

92/93 Leafs = Participants

I read it online today and choked at the sight. Obviously something occured and its ridiculous.

Nothing occurred other than the tv broadcast getting a couple of camera shots of them all partying in a private box. It was a simple get together of a bunch of guys from a team from a special year. It was organized by them, and for them. Had nothing to do with any ceremony, speeches, banners, etc.

What's the problem? Just like a private reunion, and it looked like they were having a helluva time too.

Have you ever done anything as part of a team, or collective, that gelled and enjoyed their time together? What wrong with celebrating and reminiscing about those times?

I guess we shouldn't remember players/teams from seasons where they were NOT part of a Stanley Cup winning team????

You really have to channel some of your hate and energy towards something more productive. Seriously. You come across in your posts as a bitter, nasty person ... and that's not only posts related to the Leafs.

"Glory Days"

Courtesy Dan Tolensky at hockeybuzz.com

I had a friend was a little hockey player

back in '93

He could score the biggest goals

Until he lost his spleen

Saw him the other night at the ACC

He was in box with Burns and Berg

He was inside sitting down having a few drinks

but all Nik kept saying was "Unbelievable"

Glory days well they'll pass you by

Glory days in the wink of Borchevsky's eye

Glory days, glory days

Well then there's Wendel, he lives up the block

back in 93 he could turn all the boy's heads

Sometimes on a Saturday I'll stop by

and watch The Passion Returns wishing Kerry Fraser was dead

He and my boy Dougie well they both retired

I guess it's few years gone by now

We just sit around talking about the old times,

he says when he feels like crying

he starts laughing thinking about that wraparound goal

Glory days well they'll pass you by

Glory days made Foligno jump so high

Glory days, glory days

Now I think I'm going down to the ACC tonight

and I'm going to drink till I get my fill

And I hope when I get old I don't sit around thinking about 1993

but I probably will

Yeah, just sitting back trying to recapture

a little of the glory of, well time slips away

and leaves you with Belak and Kilger and

great stories of glory days

Glory days well they'll pass you by

Glory days Anderson sure could fly

Glory days, glory days

Glory days well they'll pass you by

Glory days Potvin was quite a guy

Glory days, glory days
