Big Wooly Mammoth
I've been really hoping for Iggy. Ths stooges have been hitting the European tour circuit for the last few years. Saw them in Boston last year.My kids made me proud when they requested that I put on Iggy in the car a couple of weeks ago!Would love to see Wyclef as well.hopefully this really is confirmed. Velvet
Again, I've heard that Stevie Wonder is out, so this list might be in some way suspect.
Jaimoe
Is it just Iggy or are the rest of The Stooges joining him? I'm a fan of his solo work, but I'd love to see The Stooges at this fest.
ollie
I'm hoping for Iggy solo. Either way, the lineup just got better again.
Big Wooly Mammoth
it would be iggy and the stooges. they are, however, playing a gig in Europe on July 4, so playing Ottawa within a week might be tight.
AD
Feist would only be available on July 3, 4, or 5. The 6th she's in Vermont and then into the states.Blind Boys are in PEI on the 5th, Quebec City on the 6th, and NJ on the 10th, so there's lots of room for them.Wyclef is in Quebec City on the 11th, so that's possible. Even though he's brutal.Brian Wilson is in the UK on the 1st and Niagara Falls on the 8th. I've previously reported Brian Wilson will be at Bluesfest on the 9th.Great Big Sea have nothing booked until the 12th at the Amphitheatre in Toronto, so that's possible.Taj Mahal is in the neighbourhood and would be available most likely on the 3rd, but is around early in the week as well..... that's enough sleuthing around for me tonight. Just a few additions here from Velvet's master list. But nice to see some more names all the same. Only a week until the full line-up is released. AD
He's touring with Taj Mahal in June so methinks they'd be on the same night at Bluesfest. Just speculation though.
boiler
Keb Mo is one of these guys I've been admiring for a while but figured I'd never see him play. Nice treat.

Basher
I would definitely consider coming to Snottowa for Widespread Panic.Tell me about the venue where they would play, and whether or not it would be littered with lawn chairs and lameasses. AD
well it's bluesfest... so it would be outdoors, and there would be lawnchairs and lameasses for sure.
gatineau99
from my experiance....it all depends which show you see and which stage you at.....they should really designate a siting stage and a standing stage......or just ban those lawnchairs altogether....can be a hazard if people have to move fast...
