Sorry guys' date=' I put them on craigslist and am getting offers that are far too good to refuse. Consider these tickets sold.......[/quote']

You're seriously scalping these tickets. Sign me up to be part of the wrath. Thats low.

I assumed you were joking until the rent comments.

judging people on a forum is way lower.

My feelings - you are either morally against the resale of tickets for higher than face or you are not. I am not. You can't be against something most of the time.

If I want to go to a sold out show and that is my only avenue, so be it. On the other hand, if someone offers me loads of cash for tickets I can't use, fantastic.

That's the way things work in a free society. This is not an illegal practice.

Yeah its illegal, so is the weed that you'll all smoke at the show.

I made the offer to anyone who wanted them, and waited an hour and made a bunch of phone calls. No one was taking right away so I decided to try CL.

The tix were sold to a couple who are flying in from Cali and already had non refundable plane tix and were thrilled to just get these tix, and had no problem ponying up the cash. Also I set them at best offer, and they made the offer gladly. Not sure why I feel the need to justify, but there you go.

Free market capitalism at its best. I've been on the other end and never regretted it for a second, and this time I did what I NEEDED to do.

Thanks to those who understand. I've been out of work for months and have been through a tonne of really shitty shit and don't need the "wrath" no matter how it comes........

If I change my mind and or the sale doesn't go through- the tix are for Cully.

:-(

A couple of thoughts from someone who was at the gig;

I was able to attend again tonight, thanks to Don! It is really

amazing seeing this kind of music in a room of 150 people. It was

another sweet night at the Sweetwater in lovely downtown Larkspur. The

weather down there, so fine! It is always nice to have Mt. Tamalpais

as a back drop and this rehearsal was like spending a night at your

best friend's basement in High School, only this band could really

play! The "Don't Let Me Down," Beatles cover and the "So Many Roads"

into "Franklin's Tower," were out of this world...

Jay says Jackie had the capo on the third fret during "So Many Roads,"

and boy did he sing the heck out of it. There was that "moment" when

everyone in the room knows something special is happening and we are

all experiencing it, and it was tremendous! Sometimes music touches us

in places that is simply incomparable to anything else. To follow the

"So Many Roads," with "Franklin's Tower," was incredible. If you get

confused listen to the music play!
