Booche Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 I might have to try and get on that Kingston show, depending on the price point.
skelter Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 I just did a big goddamn happy dance all over my house .... this fucking rules.
ForbinHood Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 HOLY SHIT!That just made my entire week!Come on work, what else can you throw at me this week... bring it on!
Esau. Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Nice to see Dylan visiting some cities he hasn't played in quite awhile (Sault Ste. Marie for example), gotta love when he does that. Enjoy Bob, Bob. Looks like London may be my best chance if I decide to go see him this time.
hamilton Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Looks like London may be my best chance if I decide to go see him this time.I am shocked to see the word "if" in that sentence!
Esau. Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 (edited) Yeah, been sorta soured by an incident in the past (ACC the year Foo-fighters opened) and haven't gone to a single "big show" (arena etc) since, aside from the Crowes in Sarnia this past summer. Nothing completely specific to Bob, although I wasn't too impressed last time I saw him to be honest, just not into the big show costs and crowds all too much anymore.Don't get me wrong, his Bobness will always be tops on my list.[color:red][edit to add]D.B.T is the same night as the London show, I already got Truckers tix, so I guess Oshawa wouldbe my next logical choice, see what happens I guess. tigger Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Looks like we have to thank Pearl Jam for starting the cross country shows again(out of country bands).I hope we keep seeing this type of thing.
Hartamophone Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 why pearl jam?I'm assuming it's in reference to Pearl Jam's near-exhaustive (though non-Territorial) tour of Canada in the Fall of '05.In related news, I was happy to be able to get floor tickets for Dylan in Victoria for a little over eighty bucks each (after bend-you-over charges) once I saw the prices for Neil Young in Vancouver.
Cosmic ChrisC Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 I've never been to Kingston, oddly enough. This might just be when I have to go.
EddieRamser Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 I have floor tickets for the Calgary show and I am very excited.
RobL Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 (edited) got front row for Dylan in Kingston. presale went on at 10 am. can't wait, anyone ever been to the krock center. looks pretty small http://www.k-rockcentre.com/centre/venue-information.php hopefully the sound is stellarhttp://protected.tickets.com/buy/TicketOnsale?organ_val=27689&agency=KRSE_PLAGENCY&poid=12416password: galumph for kingstonhttp://www.bobdylan.com/#/tour Edited September 29, 2008 by Guest
ForbinHood Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 Front row for Bob in the Sault... today is a good day!
Freak By Night Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I'm in for the Ottawa show. 8th row.
ollie Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 13th row, centre section for Kingston. Never been there before! Woo hoo!
Irie Guy Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I wish I could afford another show right now. Jealous of all you folks but I was 2nd row at Copps last month so I can't complain too much. These smaller venues will be sweet.
Hartamophone Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I'm on the floor in Victoria. So nice to not have to factor in ferry costs to see a decent show.
