jaybone
We went last night and it was quite the spectacle. Great performance! That was the first time I have seen a show at the Dome that looked and sounded really good. Thanks to Stoned Phillips for the ticket hook ups! Whitey
That stage looks ridiculous. No wonder two tickets cost $500.
Kanada Kev
I got floor tix and they were $57 a piece. Mind you, with fees the pair came to $142.50. From all the positive reviews of this show so far, that price doesn't seem too out of whack.I think we're going to be havin'beers at Gabby's on King St. near John preshow. It's gonna be packed down around there tonight.

jaybone
I had floors and I kind of felt bad for people with seats that cost $250.00. Everyone stood for the whole show, so seats would only have gotten in the way!

fluffhead77
we had dinner with bono and brian eno last night before the show. bono said he likes toronto crowds a lot. Um. You did what last night? How the hell did you swing that? That's AWESOME! Was Brian Eno the coolest guy ever?!? Wait, don't tell me - I don't want to know if he was a douchebag. Did you all talk about your love of DAniel Lanois? I reckon that's the most appropriate conversation in that crowd... hamilton
did U2 say anything about burma? i know a bunch of burmese were invited to protest. ...And they made sure to hit the political marks – dedicating "Walk On" to Burma's Aung San Suu Kyi as fans walk the stage perimeter with paper masks, and running a video message of peace and unity from South Africa's Bishop Desmond Tutu. Kanada Kev
I know it was last week, but i had a great f'n time at this show. It was grand in scale and a treat to the eyes and ears. Logistically, as a floor ticket holder, it was easy in and easy out (twss). Great recap/photos/vid here: http://concertaholics.com/2009/09/17/u2-rogers-centre-toronto-september-17-2009/ pics:
