I don't read any other message boards, but have been wondering how things got sorted out with the whole issue of there being 3 days of shows in Bethel and nowhere to sleep. Anyone know what has gone down? I imagine that between venue management and band management this basic logistical hurdle must have been addressed. Just curious!

Thanks for the review and pictures Lucas. I really enjoyed the show. Between the kinda loud crowd and my location at stage right (beside the stage, by the bar, where the vocals are very drowned out), the sound I was getting wasn't great. I had a great view of Andrew Barr; his work on those drums was blowing me away. I think Brad referred to the lute-like instrument as "the peanut"..? If "If You Leave Me" is that upbeat kinda tropical sounding song, I loved that one. Is it on one of the albums?

I just called the Dakota, who confirmed that there were no advanced tickets available, so it isn't sold out. Edit: Maybe you are referring to Kevin Drew's latest twitter post: "barr brothers. like no other. DEATH is sold out. Dakota will be alive. 10 pm. x" ?

A kick you in the ass show is exactly what MMJ delivers! More so than Modest Mouse IMHO. I wish the tickets weren't $50! Hard to get friends to commit to those kinds of bucks.

Anyone liking this "whokill" album? I can't stop listening to it, very addictive. She's gonna be famous. Sold out show tonight at the 'shoe, can't wait.
