Reading the fine print in that article, it was written prior to 2006 and I'm pretty sure somebody posted in here back in the day. It's time the 50 worst list was updated!
Speaking of declining ticket prices and more cowbell, Blue Öyster Cult will be playing a free outdoor show at a casino close to Canandaigua, the night after the Phish show. I'll be there with (cow)bells on!
I went and got a pulled pork sandwich. It was excellent as always. Didn't catch the name of the vendor - I was too busy laughing at the protesters from PETA!
My vote's for Hubert. The desserts, the sauce, the cole slaw, and the portion sizes are all better at St. Hubert. As for Swiss Chalet, their sauce is a little too sweet for my liking. They seem to have the blue hair market sewn up, though.
I don't see the need for comedians at the Bluesfest. There's plenty of comedy already, and it's all free: - Whitey getting patted down by security guards - the ongoing battle with the lawn chair people - arguments with Lawrence "Don't call me Larry" Gowan - adults freaking out because they're asked to produce ID to purchase a beer - Eugene's annual "these bands used to play Zaphods" tirade - noise complaints - " isn't blues!"
I'm surprised you're not sending an e-mail to your old buddy Armstrong over at the Sun, AD. He seems to have his finger on the pulse of all things Bluesfest.
