My initial gut feeling is the Sharks got the better end of the deal. Murray's hands were tied - Heatley had de-valued himself with his trade demand and his refusal to got to Edmonton. There weren't a lot of GMs interested in his enormous salary either. Anyone know the terms Michalek's and Cheechoo's contracts? (I could look it up but it's time for dinner!)

If I were going, I'd stay at a hotel, no matter what the cost. I'm far too old to put up with the sketch factor and the nitrous mafia at these festival campsites. For a multi-day festival, I need a good night's sleep!

Just re-read that article again (almost lunchtime - getting hungry!). In the part about the KFC bowl, it implies that mashed potatoes and corn are bad for you. Also in the description for the KFC double down, it mentions an ingredient "pepper pack cheese". Surely they meant "pepper jack cheese"? You'd think alternet could afford a proofreader.

As a commuting cyclist, when I do something "unpredictable" like stopping at a stop sign, it really confuses the car drivers. Just this morning I stopped at a four way stop. There was a car already stopped there to my left. Well, I tell ya, this lady didn't know weather to shit or go blind! She waved me through, rather angrily I might add, even though she had the right of way.

I'd go if lived there, he puts on a great show!

I hate when I order a "poutine" and they serve it with a few strands of shredded cheese instead of curds. Sacrilege! If it ain't got curds, it ain't poutine!

I always use the "cloth" bags now - ever notice how the new ones are really made of plastic that just looks like cloth? I've got enough plastic bags in the bottom kitchen drawer (saved up from when they were free) to last until the end of Phish's next hiatus.

I don't expect that "cook" to be working there by the time we go for our next visit. The guy was slow, unsanitary, and legally blind. I could tell his boss was not pleased.
