  1. Anaheim looks like their mean old selves with Scott back in the line up... they're going to get lots of great offence from their back end with Scott and Matthieu leading the rush back to back. Ottawa's is looking really good right now... Meszaros is playing great as the replacement to Volchenkov... Redden, still prone to making the ugly defensive play, seems to have settled down some and is contributing offensively like he did a couple of seasons ago... Joe Corvo is playing like a top 10 offensive defenceman this season... Phillips has been steady, Volchenkov been steady, and Schubert and Luke Richardson have done well to step in when they are needed. Having Chara in the mix would be sweet, and probably put us past Anaheim in terms of depth, but without a super dominant size player (Phillips comes close), Anaheims got to take it cause of Pronger... and I hate Pronger. So it pains me to say it. And that's my 2-cents.
  2. Very sad for the family being the holidays and everything.
  3. I can't believe we lost 7 in a row! Loving the parity in the league right now... 10 teams in the east within 4 games of 2nd place. That's going to mean lots of 'high stakes' games between teams not involving the Sens... which should minimize the effect of having teams playing their best games against us to see how they measure up.
  4. Happy birthday hippie! Have a great day!
  5. Happy day before your birthday!!! Keep on rocking!

  7. Hey everyone!!! Thanks for all the good wishes! I had a great day today... my girlfriend surprised me by coming in from Sudbury, and I had a nice diner out with the parental units. It was super nice, and all I could of ever wanted! I've been very busy recently preparing for a move up north... my time in Toronto has come to an end! Hopefully when everything settles down I'll be able to add my complaints a little more frequentley to this websageboard 2.0. Peace! ~W
  8. Wow... didn't expect THAT outta Green Bay today... but I'm NOT complaining! IF we found a run game (Minnesota was #1 against the run before today).. GB could be a real contender in the NFC (and earn the right to be the huge underdog in the superbowl ) I also had the disprivildge of watching the bills and fish duke it out cause my godfather likes the Bills... what an awful game... how many runs up the middle for no yards were there? Fugly.
  9. Great game all around. Two snake bitten teams (in this game) with two goalies standing on their heads... something had to give. Montreal has a quality product on their hands.
  10. Great game so far... you guys are certainly holding the edge in play!
  11. Wowie zowie! What a great performance and recording! Thanks Jakis!
  12. Good luck today Chappies... Happy Hockey Day in Canada! Leafs suck.
  13. Ah, Green Bays running game is improving every week... sure it's not Adrian Peterson territory, and never will be... but they're getting close to 100 combined a game... and while Minnesota has no doubt the better run game... Green Bay has them trumped in every other area... plus the Pack got 3 great defensive tackles who can put a kink in the Peterson run attack. That being said... the all time series between the Pack and Vikings is at .500, and the Pack have already won their 1st match this year. So just as much as the Pack should win on paper... the Vikings are due. Still, outside of some poorly timed pass interference calls, and them not being the Patriots... the Pack have probably the best defensive depth in the league. That's where they're strength is... oh and a new crop of receivers who know how to get in the way of a Brett Farve fastball. Bottom line... it's a coin toss... and when it comes time to end the game... Green Bay will at least be in a position to win.
  14. My Guess: Feel Free to Add. I also guess I'm right! Do I win anything?
  15. Raptors have little confidence... more precisely, Bosh and Bargnani have none. Could be a sophomore jinx from Andrea... but he's also probably feeling the heat from Boshs' poor play. Fix Bosh and the rest will follow. Bosh's aim is just off... brick central... but he's getting his chances, so it's not all bad. Hopefully these two games are a blip and not a full blown slump... regardless, the East is too easy NOT to make the playoffs, so you have 6 months to develop a dominate team and to ride the depth out of this 'concerning' period.
  16. Loved seeing all the empty seats in the 3rd as I guess those in attending in Leaf gear obviously had enough of their team, and sitting in a hostile crowd. The best part is they'll keep lining up like lemmings to do it again next time. It was almost better to let the Leafs score one just so they would all stand up and identify themselves. We're still a little quiet, I think partly due to the hypnotic way in which the Sens play lulls their opponents to sleep too... but it seems the fans are trumping their reserved nature and rising to the occasion. With a show like the Sens can put on, why not eh? This pleases me. On aside, I almost wanted to hug Kypreos today on HockeyCentral at noon... he's not even angry... just sad and deflated. He knows exactly what is up... the Leafs, are done... for a Sens fan we can just sit back and wait for the inevitable... the Leafs need to be blown up. Their defence has given up 62 goals!!! There's a couple of other really bad teams in the 50's, but the lion share is still around the 35 mark... and all their MONEY is on the Blueline. I almost feel bad for Paul Maurice too. Sundin would look great in an Ottawa uniform. Don't let pride get in the way of a date with Patrick Eaves and Ilya Zubov Toronto.
  17. Illuminati! Can you teach me some secret handshakes' date=' and how to hypnotize people? That would be sweet! [/quote'] Say whats? Ah! Pretend like you don't know... brilliant!
  18. I totally agree. The panel at Sportsnet seemed to think he could get in... clearly they are drinking the same kool-aid as announcer Joe Bowen. What they hell are these people thinking?
  19. Illuminati! Can you teach me some secret handshakes, and how to hypnotize people? That would be sweet!
  20. Pathetic. I'd be embarrassed to post something like that... let alone read it and think there was anything healthy or useful in Maple Leafs land. Edit to add: With no McCabe to blame... there's got to be 12 or 13 Maple Leafs vying for the worst player on the ice tonight. ::Savors the flavor::
  21. At that right there is EXACTLY why Ottawa has a dominate hockey team. Character players and a team first attitude. So many of the rest are just pretenders treading water and playing desperate.
  22. Fugly. But some nice ones to ice it in the shootout! I loate the pity point, but we were lucky to get two.
