  1. What a beautiful picture of two of my favourite people! Happy belated RayRay! Hope you had a good time, and carved out some rest and relaxation. You're going to be one yummy mummy!!
  2. Happy birthday!! Looking forward to rockin it out to Elmo & Sheebs and the rest of the Hefner folks at our wedding! See you in less than two weeks!!
  3. Happy belated there Lynne! I hope that we will continue to cross paths here and there. Hope you had a great weekend!
  4. We be camping. Along with Mr. Mark Tonin and friends. I believe geomouse, Tigger and Becky, livingstoned, and neugroove are also in the mix? Should be good times!
  5. I'll be catching them in August at Darien. I definitely prefer that venue over the toe-tappin Casino Rama (minus the pesky border crossing)
  6. Leaving bright and early tomorrow morning! Just as a caution to anyone who was planning on hitting up a grocery/beer store on the other side of the border. With it being July 4th, they may be closed? Cheers, sara
  7. The word is (and I do believe it is official...) that Todd of Fat Cats and Mike of Burt Neilson Band will be doing an acoustic duo on the Saturday. Should be a nice, rare treat.
  8. Woohooo!!! Looking forward to this one for sure. Between Tyler and Drawbar trading the piano and hammond back and forth with a little harp action (or however it ends up going down) it should be a good night indeed. Oh yeah, and the rest of those hacks ain't bad either. It's been a while since there's been a Fattie gig...
  9. Happy days Schwa! Always good times running into you. Even though I don't know you really well, it is evident that you are very much loved by the good people of this board and beyond. Your good vibes are contagious!
  10. I'd second that notion Cully!! Oh and Guitarzan check your PMs brother!! Hope y'all have fun tonight.
  11. And Lloyd Robertson... Sorry Lloyd, but it's true.
  12. How did I know you were going to ask that? Actually I didn't notice anyone taping, but I wasn't particularly paying attention to that unfortunately. So... I guess I can't answer your question. Sorry Brad.
  13. Yeah it was a great show. You really can't go wrong with these boys. I thought they mixed it up quite a bit, heading off in a couple of different directions (as MarcO had alluded to above)... It seemed to go by awfully fast for some reason, even though they played for about 1h 45min. I think it had to do with the 8:00pm SHARP start time... not quite used to that (although definitely no complaints)... The rain held off, but I'm glad it cooled down a bit as the first half of the show was pretty toasty under the tent. Todd and I managed to get some stellar seats with a great angle of the band (and outside of the hot, smelly standing room only central portion of the tent) I must say NPS is a great place to take in a show. The sound guys did a great job, I'm sure not an easy job with a band like MMS&W. It was my first time getting to see them all play together. It certainly lived up to my expectations... exceptional musicians!
  14. Such overwhelming sadness... I hope they can find inner strength, and I hope that their other children are returned home as soon as possible so that they are not traumatized any further.
  15. Thumbs up! Wishing you lots of opportunity!
  16. I'd go see Fogerty for free for sure! That's probably about it though... summer is busy.
  17. I'm hopping on this excitement train... It's just around the bend now folks!
  18. Or a wet one... I think they're calling for thundershowers?
  19. HOpe you have a great day Aaron!!
  20. [color:purple]Wow Hamilton, that Ryan Adams guy is like totally unreasonable...
  21. Nope, not by my "official" standards.
  22. Yeah, I really wish I could make this one too. Tough on a long weekend. I need some solitude, so we be camping. Have fun everyone who goes!!
