  1. I'm glad it was the last four or five words of the quote and not the last sentence. Random quote (direct link to what I got): http://www.quotationspage.com/quote/40417.html
  2. Happy Birthday Margaret! Hope you have a great birthday. I'll throw back a few beers in your honor today as well.
  3. Happy birthday Brian. I'll throw back a beer or two in your honor.
  4. Agreed. No disrespect to Paris meant, I know the Royal and agree about small town shows. Unfortunately, I also know about the fresh sandwiches I mentioned.

    Bluesfest...

I'm sure its still a great fest, but I'd make my way to Ottawa for this festival if they had more blues artists in their line-up. Hopefully, this year will have a bit more then recent years. The last one I was at was in 1997, Confederation Park. Heres the line-up on the back of my t-shirt. Little Feat Luther Allison Dr.John James Cotton Roomful Of Blues Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir Little George & The Shuffling Hungarians Lucky Peterson Junior Wells Suzie Vinnick Deborah Coleman Jumping Johnny Sansone Long John Hunter Tony D Guitar Shorty Rocket Rached & The Fat City 8 Anson Funderburgh & The Rockets feat: Sam Myers Sherman Robertson Plus more, over the 3 days. Some of the artists above are now deceased so I'm glad to got to see them when I did. Mainly, Luther Allison, what a live performer he was. I believe (although not 100%) this festival was one of his last performances in Canada before his passing.
  6. I'd love to hit this up, I know Willie in Massey would sound fantastic. Unfortunately, my back just can't take the seats there, after Arlo a couple years back I was laid up for almost the entire next day. I was hoping we'd see a Hamilton date as well. Last time was Willie's b-day, what a fun show indeed. Happy birthday opener (sung by the crowd) then Willie opens with Whiskey River. That was the quickest half mickie of rye I ever drank.
  7. Not sure if this has already been posted or not, but saw it on another board, firgured I'd throw it out here. http://www.moogis.com/
  8. Just kiddin around bro, sorry I can't help ya out.
  9. Depends on your definition of bluegrass I suppose.
  10. Daniel Lanois live at Vista with Brian Blade, and Pastor Brady Blade Sr.
  11. Not getting surly at all. Although I don't see the point to use a topic like this to have your fun seeing who gets "surly" or whatnot over a stupid comment. Seems to me there are numerous other threads you could easily and more effectively accomplish that in. But hey, whatever gets you off I guess.
  12. Well, there was a Canadian on board that plane too, so maybe the US Gov't was trying to get back at Canada for the plane that went down in the Hudson, after all it was taken down by Canadian geese. I don't think I need to purple font that for anyone, since both comments are utterly ridiculous.
  13. I only have an old car player, its about the size of a six pack case laying on it's side. I have no idea if it still works. My home player crapped out a few years back.
  14. Nice. I have Wake Of The Flood and the second part of Europe 72 on 8-track. I used to have a lot more but got an offer I couldn't turn down, I just couldn't let go of the GD.
