'you got a thing for me' [sloan]

'I Can Feel It' is the name' date=' and you're right, it's great

ahh, right. i wasn't confident i had the correct title.

another one i thought of, not so much a lovey-dovey song but "i'll be your man", by the black keys does something to me... something about that guitar tone which i find incredibly sexy!

We selected Passing Afternoon by Iron and Wine as our wedding song. It's as beautiful as love songs get

Aaaaah. Yes. I should have thought in those terms, too ...

Lassie and I had our first dance (in front of what felt like 9 million prying eyes) to Stay Forever by Ween (of course). A song doesn't get much prettier than that, IMO.

One love song to seek out is "Mary" from Pete Townshend's first Scoop album (a series of demo albums). "Mary" is haunting and beautiful, featuring a pre-Who's Next Townshend accompanied only by his classic or Spanish guitar. The song was later recorded by The Who and intended to be on Who's Next, but the master was destroyed in a fire. One of the best ever non-Who Who songs IMO... and I'm right.

Ween-I fell in love today.

My Big Friendly song...awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwe. :)

I got nothing to lose

I saw the sun in may

I've got something to hold on to

I fell in love today

I saw the break at dawn

I saw a child in play

I saw the spring in the winter time

I fell in love today

I walk with the birds in flight

I fly with love today

Green grass never looked so good

I fell in love today

I feel like a million bucks

Nothing could break my sway

You people can't touch me

I fell in love today
