Jaimoe
Ryan certainly makes winning 9 straight even more surprising - he creates all of his own stress and mess by coming in at the bottom or top of the 9th with the bases clear. The Chameleon
Cito is a magician! When he came in many laughed at his prediction he would get the club over .500, now they are on a 10 game streak (the longest since '98) and they are 12 games above .500. If only this had happened in July!Bitchin'!

Whitey
The Bluejays are doing great and I see definate promise for next year, but it is a lot easier to win when there isn't any pressure.

guigsy
7 games back of the sox, w/ 6 head to head... its possible!stranger things have happened... burnett's deal this year is classic sports - shit the bed until your contract year, then blow it up. does he have enough starts left to win 20? if he does, AND they squeeze into the playoffs, he's headed for a MONSTER payday this off-season.... hello yankees! Booche
1987?My facts might be wrong but the Jays had something like a 7 game lead on Detroit with 7 to play. All the had to do was win one.Did they? Nope. It went to a one-game playoff and the Jays lost. Tony Fernandez also separated his elbow right at the start of the losing run. I was at the game the following day and did the crowd ever let the Tiger have it, he who took out Tony trying to break up a double play thus causing the injury. I seem to recall it being a dirty slide but its been 20 years!I would love to see them make the playoffs.

Jakis
I don't think they will make it but at least it's been an entertaining season. I have been to about 15 games and enjoyed most of them. I hope they make the playoffs though!
Basher
Bottom line, the Jays have 7 games left against the BoSox. If they go 6-1 in those 7, they will make up 5 games in the standings. Looks like that will be needed.
The Chameleon
Man what a game! The Jays looked terrible until the 8th when the scored 3, then in the 9th the scored another 2. They had the tying run on 3rd and Rios struck out.Wow that was close, even though they lost this team means business.I guess they have to win the rest,...Good luck boys!
