Rob Not Bob
Guess I was the only one who went to Styx ... damn fine show, really, they mostly played their earlier stuff and didn't do Mr. Roboto (thank god) or much of their cheesier, more MOR , Dennis DeYoung-centric later material. Lawrence Gowan did an admirable job, didn't think he'd be able to take the higher notes but he nailed them. "Crystal Ball" ... where the heck has this song been all my life? Freak By Night
I watched Styx, stayed for the entire set and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
bungopony
Les Claypool looked pretty cool, but my heart was on the Black Sheep stage. Sharon Jones is a human magnet, insanely charismatic. What a woman, what a show.Anyone know if Clem Snide's good? I hear Dave Mason rocks.
rubberdinghy
Les was fucking great. Has anyone heard the new album yet? I think I'll have to pick it up...That xylophone guy is AWESOME!!!I cannot wait for CAKE! It's going to be a blast. Great to be back at Bluesfest, even if it's only for a couple of days!
