zero
It's only been out for a couple weeks but already lives up to it's title: Black Milk's Album Of The Year. If you're a fan of the Roots but maybe haven't seen much growth in them in awhile listen to what J Dilla's disciple Black Milk is doing with not just the use of live instrumentation but the way he's able to capture the colour of the drum tones. Not to mention I'd take his live band over the Roots any day for a live Hip Hop group but I know that sounds hyperbolic.

Freak By Night
I respectfully disagree. Not with anyone's selections, but with being "close enough to the end of the year" for a top album list. The year is barely 3/4 done. What's next? A "post of the week" award at noon on Thursday? Caps-lock Mondays?
bradm
What's next? Caps-lock Mondays?I think that would also move Whiskey Wednesday to Tuesdays, and Thirsty Thursday to Wednesday. And would that be so bad a thing?Aloha,Brad
