The show went on both times.

How was the Stars show? Didn't catch any of it. Was at Marcia Ball at Black Sheep...got to sit down which I needed after 10 days of Bluesfest plus it was a good show. Just what Bluesfest also needed tonight I think. So Hold Steady and Musical Box pretty much it for tomorrow night? And it will be a great night!! Looks like I won't be able to check out Hollywood star Costner.

It'll be Hole for me at 8pm and then probably a little bit of Joan Jett (which I might get bored of pretty fast) so I'll go check out Babe Ruth instead.

Had a wonderful time last night...sure wish they were playing here again tonight! Who's checking out which bands ce soir? My main show will be Steve Hackett, but am planning to see Renaissance and a bit of Moody Blues too. Would also love to check out Andrew Bird but he's the same time as Hackett.

Yeah, I rolled my eyes at that. I had a great time last night...Dream Theater was all right, but I don't know them much; a guy I was with, who went to Bluesfest just to see them, was disappointed with the sound and the short set. Also, my sister almost passed out from the heat so there was a bit of distraction there. I loved Iron Maiden, as always. This is not the best show I've seen...my favourite one was two years ago at Metal Mtl; my second favourite was the first time I saw them in 1988 for their Seventh Son of a Seventh tour. Last night was my 3rd favourite. It felt like a Maiden show and I loved seeing them at Bluesfest. My highlight was the song Iron Maiden. Sure wish they would have kept on going for another 30 minutes or so! Buying tickets today for Heavy MTL taking place in late July...no Maiden there, but I am hungry for more metal this summer.

Yeah, those guys will love the War Museum...they'll probably visit it, if they can.

Well been a while since I saw them in Ottawa and it's cool that they're playing Bluesfest. Time for you to come home dude. And yes, the post-2000 setlist sucks. Hope they take into account the fact that they have not played here in a long time.

Yeah, thought so. It didn't make sense that they'd be using the plane for their Somewhere Back in Time tour.
