  1. I really like that White Wedding and Crazy Train.
  2. Velvet, you provided a great work soundtrack for me today. Nice play list!
  3. bouche and I stayed at the Barcello Solymar in Veradero and enjoyed ourselves very much. The staff is attentive and call you by name. The excursions are fun. My top three would be: Catamaran (boating to a secluded white beach island for a beach cooked seafood lunch). Swimming with the dolphins. Day trip into Havana. Plus we rented Scooters and were able to explore parts of Veradero that aren't for tourists. It made the trip. No matter where you end up staying bring: - Hot sauce - School supplies and other giveaways. People really appreciate this sort of thing when you venture off the resort and get a real taste of Cuba. Have fun!
  4. I like how the Whopper Virgin says that seal meat tastes better. Ummm... I bet it does!
  5. And quit looking at my tits Gateaux!
  6. Here's a duet as per Myrna's request.
  7. SNL did a parody of the Whopper Virgins. Funny how it looks like they have so much integrity by sharing American culture with people in remote parts of the world with no access to advertising. They likely don't even have a word for exploitation.
  8. I'd do him NO PROBLEM! Can't say that about any other senior I suspect.

  13. I always over think lyrics and make them harder to write then they need to be. Then I turn on the radio and there's songs like: Boom boom boom, bang bang bang, boom boom boom. or Da-da-da a-doo da-da Da-da-da a-doo da-da-da Da-da-da a-doo da-da Da-da-da a-doo da-da-da or some phrase repeated over and over again. 14. The only liquor I can drink straight up (aside from liqueurs) is Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, Southern Comfort, Dessorono (sp?) and white tequila.
  15. This one's for fellow soup lover, AD. I made Gordon Ramsey's Roast Chestnut, Parsnip and Apple Soup tonight and it's not only easy and fast but also VERY tasty. (Although there was a challenge finding chestnuts today). butter 2 stalks celery, chopped 2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped 250g roasted chestnuts, roughly chopped 600 ml chicken or veggie stock cream to serve parsley (I added this, it's not in his recipe) Salt and pepper to taste Melt some butter in a saute or sauce pan. Add parsnips and celery and cook on med-high 5-7 minutes until they start to colour. Add apples and continue cooking about 5 minutes until apples are soft. Add chestnuts and stock and cook another 5-10 minutes. Puree with a hand blender until smooth. Adjust consistency to the thickness you want with hot water or more stock and season to taste. Serve with a swirl of cream and some freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy.
  16. Myrna, sounds like you should get a timer. That's a lot of energy consumption. There's no reason at all to have it going for over three hours.
  17. I am a girl and don't like sci-fi but LOVE this series.
  18. Stride Gum's Website Under the "Matt's Place" link is a cool vid and under the "Recreations" link is a neat game of ping pong and dodge ball.
