  1. That one whole driver probably carried thousands of people. That's just dangerous. Rest is crucial for performance, I don't care what job you're doing.
  2. YAY!!! Happy birthday BB, go kick some shins.
  3. So sorry. And I thought I was too old for daisy dukes!
  4. I was broken into when I lived in Centertown. The guy didn't take anything but I knew someone was there because my screen had been slashed and my window was open. A few weeks later I figured out WHY I was boroken into. My phone bill had a sh*t load of calls to "976" numbers. I'd rather he took my TV then jerked off in my bed. I moved quickly after that.
  5. It has never even occured to me to tip for take-out. Now that it's in my subconscience though I probably will feel guilty if I don't. Damn it.
  6. This will be my first Hip show as well.
  7. I loved it in the cannalonni we made as well. None this week though. I miss it!
  8. As an aside, I picked up his CD called Burnt Bulb on Broadway, which is a compilation album of women covering songs written by Kevin Breit and played on Piano by his brother, Gary Breit. It just served to make me appreciate him even more. The man can craft a song. What a beautiful listen.
  9. I like to cut them into small, hash brown type cubes, blanch them and then fry them up with spices for a great breakfast hash brown. You can do them on their own or mix them with potato. I guess if you like the shredded potato kind they'd be great in that also but I haven't done it. I also put turnip or parsnips in with my mashed potatoes. It just adds a layer of flavor. They make it into every pot of soup we make. They're great just simply roasted with other root veggies like beets, carrots, etc.
  10. Wowee wow wow! I had a remarkable time. A hot tub soak, an incredible dinner and a great little show. My favorite part though was the ride back to the Mill from Kevin, who we found out was also staying there. The three of us hung out in the lounge until 2:30am just shooting the shit. He is so interesting the hours flew by. We met up with him again for breakfast and were politely asked by the staff to move to the lounge because breakfast had turned to lunch and they needed the table back! An amazing time. Thank you Kevin! BTW - He's in Kingston tonight. If you can get there, do it!
  11. Big birthday hugs and kisses oh bouncy one.
  12. The really sad thing here is the wasted vibes. People who really need the vibes went without vibes because all the vibes were being sent to someone who didn't really need the vibes. Never cry wolf is all I'm saying. Someday you might need vibes and we won't be so willing to give them to you.
  13. D'oh now I feel compelled to add that he doesn't remind me of anyone I dated. HAhahha, fack no!
  14. I like this show a lot but (and I can't believe I'm saying this) I agree with Yours Truly (shudder). It IS hard to watch. Kenny Powers reminds me of too many hick people from my past that I've tried hard to forget. Disgusting but mesmerizing.
  15. My BNL story is that I went to Woburn in Scarborough. Same highschool as two of the BNLs. They were just leaving as I was just starting though. They played an assembly before Gordon came out, but I enjoyed it and raced to buy Gordon when it came out.
  16. I am wondering if anyone out there is a Travel Agent. I have a question about the type of information that's displayed in the GDS and what Agents generally want to see, what's useful to them. Fingers crossed. Thanks.
  17. Sorry I can't offer to carpool. Mike and I are taking of early tomorrow to hot tub and dine at the Mill. We're staying there also so we won't be headed back to Ottawa until Friday. See you there!
  18. We'll likely be there early, we're having dinner at the Mill. Of course we'll save you a seat!
